“It went from bad to worse!!!”

We rang to particularly request a room overlooking the sea. We were put at the side of the hotel overlooking the karaoke that finishes at 4.30am each night. We were then moved to a room that that the hotel generator running above it all night. Despite being promised a move to a quiet room, the instruction was not read by the staff so we had a 3rd night with no sleep. The only recompense they offered was vouchers for a nearby hotel with a private beach. They refused to let us have any vouchers for nights in other hotels. The attitude of the staff was awful. The only person who seems to have any sense is the lady manager. We would NEVER stay here again. Such a shame as the hotel is well placed in the resort. Lots of training issues for the staff. The breakfast and location are the only good things about the hotel.

We needed to find a reasonable hotel in Cabo for our last 3 nights, we found the Fairfield and were happy with our decision. The rooms were a reasonable size with comfortable beds. The breakfast was okay, the young man looking after the food did a great job in keeping the food updated. The location is great, you are a 10 -15 minutes walk to the marina area and 10 minute walk to Medano Beach. We took advantage of the day pass available at Casa Dorada, the cost was $25.00 to use the pool and beach area at the resort of which you got a $20.00 food and beverage credit. we did this 2 days and found it a great value. The pool was small with a small outside sitting area. I would recommend this hotel.

Everything here was very clean - our room, the pool, and the lobby area. Our room was also quiet; we couldn't hear any of the other hotel guests or street noise from our room on the fourth floor. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and bread products available each morning. The walk to Medano Beach is only a few blocks, and the marina is also within walking distance.

A 10 minute walk to the marina or Medano beach, this hotel is an affordable alternative to the big resorts. That being said, you need to know what you're reserving. This is a business-style hotel with a small pool and gym, and small overall rooms. This hotel is best for people who know what they want to do in Cabo, and have a bunch of activities planned already. It's on the main street to the marina, and it's easy to get to the beach as well. Breakfast is standard Fairfield stuff (oatmeal, fake scrambled eggs, etc). The staff were all very friendly; I avoided the timeshare concierge in the lobby and had no issues.

right on the strip near some really good food. the hotel is very clean and offers free breakfast (average - scrambled eggs, oatmeal, turkey sausage, bagels/toast/english muffins, cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt with some toppings, and coffee/juice). the rooms are pretty nice for the price - the king room is a bit small but the bed is sooooo comfy! sooo comfy! its like a memory foam bed. highly recommend it!

My husband and I recently made the Cabo Fairfield Inn a base for us for 6 nights in a 2 week trip to Cabo. We decided on a Wednesday to go the following Sunday and neither of our timeshares in Cabo had anything available, so we stayed at the Fairfield on points. (We are more than frugal and travel with some frequency.) The hotel is nothing fancy, but is secure, clean, and has a kind and helpful staff. The average rating is because it is very basic which worked out fine for us as we usually rent a car and explore anyway.

As mentioned in other reviews, they do offer a pass to Casa Dorado which is a great bargain and very convenient. We took advantage of this one day and enjoyed Medano Beach. We also took advise from other reviewers and frequented Lalo's Tacos which was good and very inexpensive.

The breakfast provided by the hotel is basically like those available in the states. Nothing really special but certainly enough variety to choose from and ample amounts of whatever they offered.

The rooms are fairly small but again, sufficient and comfortable. As I mentioned earlier, we stayed on points and really, it was a steal. We would definitely return under similar circumstances.

The Fairfield Inn is a great value with a good location on the main drag (Avenida Lázaro Cárdenas), a 15-minute walk from the excellent Medano Beach or downtown Cabo. Rooms are modern and well-apportioned. The breakfast is complimentary and good. Wi-fi is free, as is on-site parking.

The front desk offers a $25 (per person) day pass to the beach club at Casa Dorado. Your $25 gets you free valet parking at Casa Dorado, a $20 food and beverage credit (drinks are 2 for 1, and food is tasty), and your own umbrella-covered lounge chair or curtain-covered daybed on Medano beach. Meadano beach itself is very nice, with good sand, clear, inviting water, and available activities for a price include wave runners and water taxies to El Arco and Lover's Beach.

The only annoyance is that the Fairfield's "concierge" is actually a timeshare hawker. But she can be easily avoided.

I'd much rather save the money on a resort stay and stay at the Fairfield instead.
