Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf & Spa

We had a wonderful condo high above the Fiesta Americana overlooking the entire area. Golf carts took us up to our condo on request. Beach facilities were plentiful at all times of the day. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. A shuttle ran into Cabo San Lucas hourly which allowed us to experience the local culture. It was a wonderful week.

We loved it and stayed at the FAGrand Los Cobos. The staff was very friendly and always willing to speak English when needed. My only disappointment was, we booked this hotel last February 2013 and looked forward to it for a year. When we arrived we were told it turn all inclusive on Dec 15, 2013. We opted not to do the all inclusive (which they offered us at check in) because we wanted to enjoy all the sights and local eateries in the area. Also I did not want to spend another $150/day/person after spending $350/night already. One waiter suggested "dinner on the Beach" one night and recommended "The Office" (make a reservation which we did) What a really fun time and food was excellent. Live entertainment and blankets where on the back of all the chairs if needed for the night chill. Concierge also recommended eating in Old Town at the Cellar! Best meal! My 27 year old son said it was one of the 3 best restaurants he has ever eaten at. While we ate in the court yard they had a guitarist singing and playing lovely songs with the stars over head. A truly lovely relaxing dinner and not mexican food. I had a delicious roasted chicken, my son had rack of lamb and others had chicken alfrado.

Our room was comfy and had a view of the sun rise was spectacular. Will definitely go back and do the all inclusive to take advantage of the free drinks by the pool. Dinners off the property were certainly affordable so could justify eating out for a change of atmosphere.

First off, I have to say I have never stayed at an all-inclusive resort before. With that said, I will never NOT stay at an all-inclusive resort in the future. Especially a Fiesta Americana resort. It all comes down to the service. The staff and support at the FA were amazing. The resort was a slice of paradise. We were able to go snorkeling right on the beach, and spend all day soaking up the sun. There were plenty of pools and activities if you wanted to do that sort of thing - which we didn't. It was all about relaxing, which was easy to do. The restaurants were great. You have to try the fish tacos at the little restaurant by the pool. They are the best! The staff, though, was absolutely fantastic. They were all so helpful and kind. Absolutely loved my stay and look forward to going back soon!!

If you are looking for an upscale resort whose staff is extremely accommodating, I would highly recommend Fiesta Americana. Food & Beverage quality great. Cleanliness - Impeccable. Location: Extremely desirable. This is NOT a place for someone who wants a "Cabo Wabo" experience every evening, although you can take a shuttle cab to downtown, if you need that. No improvements necessary, save one... there is absolutely nothing to do in the evening on resort property. No Casino, No Dancing, No evening swimming. No Movies. No entertainment except a very large, comfortable beachside firepit, with a guitarist or two.... this is a place you go to, to escape and relax - good WiFi service.

Just returned from this paradise of a resort. 5 days was enough to unwind, we never left the resort because it was so perfect. We utilized the private transport from the airport to the resort. It took us an hour from touch down to be at our resort! It is worth the money to bypass the big bus with stops at other resorts. PLEASE NOTE there are aggressive time share sales persons waiting for you once you clear Immigration. Because the resort emailed me a warning about this we were prepared to plow through them. They yelled at us and tried to block our path. Because I was prepared I knew not to fall for their tricks (they claim to be your driver and take you to a different resort). Once we survived the gauntlet and arrived outside we found our driver and away we went.

Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted and our bags were set aside so we could check in. We came at a slow time and were able to obtain our room and be on our way...the beach was waiting for us! We did obtain information about the time share property and they offered to treat us to a 90 minute breakfast meeting and tour. We informed the young lady we were not interested and that was it. No pressure.

The pools were clean and you had enough room to float and relax. The poolside staff are AMAZING please bring USD and TIP them! No order was too much for the team that took such great care of us. The beach was so quiet. This resort is remote so you do not have people walking up and down your beach (no vendors either). Aqua socks would be recommended if you want to climb the rocks and explore more of the clear water. You could walk right into the Sea of Cortez and see colorful fish too! Again the service at the beach was great and quick.

We went to the Steak house and Rosato's for dinner (one night we had room service and we dined at Rosato's twice!!). All meals were very good and the servers were pleasant and attentive. The breakfast buffet was so plentiful, any picker eater could find something. Traditional Mexican breakfast, omelet station, fruit, sandwiches, salads, soups, cereal, toast and so much more. Again, the service at the buffet was great. We had lunch at the Peninsula and the cerviche place, each time great service and delicious food.
The resort itself is so clean and there are great views from all over. We never felt the need to venture off the property. The gym will give you an amazing view of the sunrise (if you are there before 7am). The gym is spacious and allows you to complete any type of workout. The spa is right next to the gym and so worth it, get a massage!!!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we truly felt cared for and never had to do anything. We had a room on the 4th floor ocean view (perfect) and we did not feel the walk to/from beach/pool too long. The landscaping is pristine and so colorful. We were fortunate to see whales everyday on this trip (no need for a boat trip to do so!).
As for the all inclusive, as this resort is new to AI we found it to be a great benefit. We will go back and we pray this resort does not become too commercial or overrun. It is a gem!

Room Tip: I would imagine the higher floors 2-4 would grant the best view of the Sea. The AC is good but we pr...

I've been a loyal Fiesta Americana for 12 years and vacation at their Cabo resort at least once a year. And the difference between last November and today is night and day. Very very no bueno. FA has opened several new restaurants. But members can only eat there if they pay "all inclusive". Service, once a hallmark of this lovely property, has gone from gracious to fake and affected. Food and beverage has taken a nose dive. Wine list dumbed down and cheap for "all inclusive". Tried the buffet for dinner last night. Fajita steak so grisly that I spit out every other bite. The waiter tried it right in front of us (yes - my ABC steak!). Manager notified but did not even stop by the table or offer restitution.

My beloved Fiesta Cabo: Don't lose your loyal members to this ill thought and poorly executed concept.

This was our fourth visit to Fiesta Americana Los Cabos and our stay was the best ever. We were escaping the cold and originally were scheduled to stay one week but we decided to stay for a second week and even then it was difficult leaving this amazing resort. The hotel is beautiful and staff was wonderful. Service at this resort is incredible. We never left the resort and enjoyed the restaurants, entertainment, pools, and watching the whales from our balcony.

Kudos and special thanks to Experience Manager Julio Galindo Wilson who was always nearby to assure that we were enjoying our stay. The wonderful and gracious Raphael was there each day and provided absolutely incredible service for lunch and cocktails by the main pool. The wonderful breakfast buffet and lunch at Peninsula (with great service by Daniel, Ivan and Antonio, and beverage manager Carlos). We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Vina del Mar with Arturo. Special thanks for outstanding service to Dinner Capitan Ricardo Salazar, servers Fredy and Manuel and hostess Isabel at Vina del Mar. Dinner at Peninsula was the best with incredible service by Jorge and Manager Andres, as well as the outstanding entertainment each evening at the fire pit. We enjoyed wonderful food and outstanding service by David and Israel at LaBodega. The newly opened sushi restaurant is very beautiful and we received a warm welcome by Sushi Chef Kael Mendoza. There were many daily activities including aqua aerobics with the wonderful and beautiful Noemi (also known as Angelina Jolie) who does a great job making it fun. Our thanks to Fiesta Americana Vacation Club Concierge Lynnette Favela for the special assistance she provided throughout our stay. Front Desk Manager Christian provided exceptional service, as well as front desk staff (Irais, Javier, Eduardo, Mario).

I was reluctant to participate in the all inclusive package but must admit we were very satisfied with the quality of food and drinks in all of the restaurants.

This is a beautiful and well maintained resort and I can't wait to go back later this year.
