We stayed for 10 days in the Frieda room. The family that run the inn are lovely and welcoming. Very little English spoken so lots of hand gestures if you do not speak much spanish. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was awesome will come back for sure

Found this place in the back streets of Cabo, I was looking for a cheaper place to stay...awesome...clean friendly and quiet. So cute and private, no TV but a selection of DVD movies free to watch. Only a couple blocks from the center of town.
$50 us for the night and it came with breakfast, fresh fruit and yogurt, coffee and pastries all yummy.
Will stay here again...thank you for your awesome attention to detail and friendly service

Went to Cabo for NYE with no reservations, miraculously this place had a cancellation and we were able to book it. The price was great, around $50 US. The room was charming, beautiful, and romantic. It had a charming net draped over the bed. The bathroom was tiled and gorgeous. Water pressure was OK, hot water took a while to come through but worked. I will say that this was the only place I got mosquito bites and in the AM there was a dead cockroach in the corner. No other ones were seen so I'm OK with that. The breakfast provided in the AM was amazing and probably would have cost 30 bucks each in town. You get: pan dulce, croissants, coffee, juice, fruit, granola, yogurt... They have WiFi that seems to work only from the courtyard, which is beautiful. Distance to the tourist area is pretty close and easily walked. We were there on NYE so there was lots of noise from nearby parties. Not sure how it is on a normal night. It was a nice find but the staff speaks ZERO english and interactions were a bit awkward. A good option but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Norman Diego's is a great value and highly recommended! Off the beaten path, but easy walking distance to the marina, and any downtown nightlife. Super quiet and comfortable at night, like an oasis in the middle of rowdy Cabo San Lucas. The staff was extremely helpful, but beware, not a single word of English is spoken here, we had a hard time communicating complex ideas.

A couple of downsides, the water pressure at night was almost non-existent, causing a shower to be out of the question. Also, the amenities (like shampoo and lotion), instead of being replenished after the last guest, were unsealed because they were refilled with water to make them last. Gross. We had our own stuff, so no problem, but just remove them if that's going to be the case.

The breakfast was superb, probably worth half the room rate at any outside restaurant. We got a big bowl of fresh fruit with yogurt, muffins, croissants, delicious all you can drink coffee with milk, and a big glass of orange juice! Stay here and give your support to a local family business instead of a greedy corporate resort and keep the local flavor alive - you'll be glad you did.

Norman Diego's Mexican Inn has a charm and beauty characteristic of traditional Mexico. As part of a very pleasant and affordable stay, you can count on the calm and gracious manager Don Miguel to make you feel cared for.

Our experience in early August (2013) was memorable. We stayed within the light yellow walls of the Lupita room. Decorated with towels in the shape of swans, the very clean bathroom also included an artful sink, spare towels and toilet paper, and complimentary bottled water. The air conditioning was also great. The atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful.

Our 3 nights total included a daily complimentary breakfast under a palapa at the center of the tropical courtyard. Breakfast began with a variety of pan dulce, glass of guava juice and cup of coffee, and a glass cup of cubed melon and papaya. Note: For a nominal fee, the menu also includes huevo con jamon, huevo con chorizo, and huevos rancheros, etc.

As for the wonderful manager Miguel, he offered to drive us to the bus terminal at the end of our first stay, and on the last day of our second stay he called and negotiated a fair price for a taxi to take us from the Inn to the airport.

We certainly enjoyed every day of our stay at the Mexican Inn. The manager was right when he said "Aquí los tratan bien" ("We treat you well here") because none of the other 4 hotels we stayed during our tour of BCS gave us the particular pampering we received here. We would definitely book a 3rd time.

This little gem is the perfect place for relaxation and comfort. Located in the heart of Cabo, three blocks away from the main strip (restaurants, nightlife, and shops). You will be greeted by Don Miguel, the hotel manager. He has the ability to make you feel very much at home and is warm enough to offer suggestions, tequila and good vibes. The inn has fewer than 10 rooms, with a central garden and beautiful gazebo and water fountain. Our room was decorated with traditional Mexican crafts with a very cozy feel. The staff was friendly and prepared us the most delectable meals in addition to the delicious breakfast. Our complimentary breakfast consisted of yogurt covered melon and papaya with sprinkled oats, coffee and orange juice, and tasty pan dulce. We originally planned to stay one night and ended up staying 4 nights. We highly recommend this place if you like a homelike feel, quaint, artsy, relaxing, comfortable place without the resort prices. We loved our experience so much that we plan to come back next year!

This small "bed and breakfast" (which also bills itself as an INN as well as a hostel) is a real jewel in Cabo. Only ten minutes up from the dance clubs and a few more minutes to the marina, but in a fairly quiet neighborhood with a style and amenities that will relax and rest your travel bones. The manager Miguel will greet you warmly, take you to your nice room, and likely offer you a glass of wine or tequila upon arrival. The little courtyard in the center with it's splashing fountain adds a comforting touch and the decor and color of the place will make you happy. Don't miss this place if you want a piece of warmth, a piece of home, and an escape from the usual hotel rat-race.
