“Pueblo Bonito Pacifica”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Just returned from a one week vacation at PB Pacifica to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Upon arrival we were given cold towels and champange, and greeted by very friendly staff. At check in we were told that our room wouldnt be ready for 2 to 3 hours. We were ok with that since it gave us a chance to walk the resort and eat lunch at Siempre. Once in our room we found it small and had to walk out on the balcony to get the "ocean view" we were told about. Chairs around the pool go very quickly, you need to be up and down there by 9 am to get some with an umbrella. Pools were nice and at a refreshing temp. We rented a beach bed for a day and enjoyed that, but the service on the beach is slow. The resort did offer free wifi which is a plus. The staff and food at Siempre(breakfast and dinner) is outstanding, the hosts were always very friendly. Weve stayed at 6 different resorts in Cabo and Siempre is at the top of the list, second would be Pitahayas at Hacienda del Mar. Gregorio and Cesar made sure that our dinners were perfect. Even when he wasn't our server, Cesar would make it a pointt to come say hi and make sure that we got our salmon ravioli. The bar and bartender (forgot his name) at Siempre are exceptional also. Pre dinner or post dinner drinks were always great. Most of the bars were out of the "better" tequila on the list. We did take the shuttle to PB Sunset Beach, then the bus to Rose, but took a taxi back ($14 plus tip). It is quite a walk to shopping, the bars and restaurants. Overall, a great trip and nice resort to relax at.

Just joking, but it was close. We had a GREAT TIME! Went with another couple (Ron & T) and just could not ask for more. Everything was great.. no complaints! .. and from me, that is not easy to say because I am a bit pickey on "all inclusive." Our standard is LaBlanc and this resort met the standard. Beautiful, just beautiful everywhere. Hot food, cold beer, great weather and lots & lots of laughs, smiles, pictures and memories. If you get the chance to go - GO!!!

Pueblo Bonito has four (4) resorts. if you paid for all inclusive you can visit all of them to swim, drink and party at no additional cost!!! A FREE shuttle is available between the Pacificia and the Sunset Resort (up the hill..) but down down at the Rosa and Bianco Resorts, we paid for the taxi...however, we found out later there was a shuttle bus also from the Sunset.

The Pacifica is ADULTS ONLY and we loved the fun of just adults. No problems, no loud music but just adults leting go, letting their hair down and stress free. We upgraded to a Jr Suite that had two rooms and two baconies. This also gave us a personal Consigneire... she was great, reservations for dinner, more beer, wine & water please? Can you check on my pick up & return flight reservations.. I mean she was doing it, smiling and enjoing her job to see us enjoing ourselves and having fun!!!

Lesson learned, it does get a bit windy so a light jack is useful... and the pool water is a bit "cool".. its not warm bath water so it does wake you up and help start the blood from the night before, so enjoy and don't complain... "its cold"... hahhaha!!!

We booked the package with United Vacations and it was easy - air and resort all in one call!

Do it - do it today and go to Cabo!!! wha-hooo

Room Tip: All the room face the ocean, great views - NO SWIMMING in the ocean at this resort!

For people that are looking to spend a relaxing time with each other, with very little distractions, this is the place to stay. From the moment you are greeted with Champagne and cold towels, you know the staff are anxious to please and please they certainly do. Magda, Leopoldo, Abel, Sandra and Patti were just a few of the staff we encountered who genuinely worked their socks off to make sure we were happy. The resort itself is very relaxing and the private beach makes you feel like your own little slice of the Baja. There are activities to do, should you want a break from the pool, but this is truly a place to 'Chillax'. Between the Pacifica and the Sunset Beach properties, you have enough restaurants to satisfy you throughout your stay. For an all-inclusive, the meals were good, in some cases excellent (Dinner at La Siempre and La Frida). The one time we ordered room service, the service and food were also good. The cleanliness throughout was excellent and the Spa and massages were on a par with any top-class resort.

Perhaps where the Pacifica shines the most is in the details. From 'Happy Honeymoon' written in Pebbles in our room upon arrival (which in itself is not easy), to the nightly turndown service, and the water and coffee stations positioned throughout the property in the mornings, you can tell they put thought into their service.

The sign of a well managed property is when you have an issue and when we had an A/C problem in our room, the situation was dealt with in a timely manner and we ended up in an even nicer room as a result!

They offer free shuttles to both their sister properties up the hill from the Pacifica (Sunset Beach) and the Rose in Cabo San Lucas Town Center. Compared to our serene haven of Pacifica, Cabo town center was the complete opposite. Loud, obnoxious and dirty. We couldn't get back fast enough!

Like any resort if you would like them to do something special ahead of your arrival, please let them know and they will be happy to oblige. Our concierge, Magda Estrada, could not have been more helpful and arranged for a beautiful bouquet of flowers to be in the room for my wife upon arrival. She was terrific throughout and made sure we had restaurant and shuttle reservations when needed and took care of us when we had any issues, big or small. She would not be out of place in the finest resorts in the world.

You do not have to spend another penny at the resort should you choose to, but here are a few tips that will help enhance your experience. 1) Bring $$$ for additional tips. a dollar here and a dollar there goes a long way at this resort. 2) Spend the extra $25.00 per head for dinner at La Frida (Sunset Beach Resort) one night. A dining experience right out of the top-drawer of restaurants around the world. 3) Visit the Spa . 4) Reserve a day bed on the beach ($40) at least one day for the true resort service and experience. 5) Go to the Sky Pool (Sunset Beach). 6) Arrange your Airport shuttle before you arrive and through the company listed on the hotel website (Cape Travel). 7) Upon arrival at the airport, do not talk to ANYONE until you are OUTSIDE the terminal and see the Cape Travel sign for your shuttle..You will run a gauntlet of....8) TIMESHARE SALES - A big part of CABO life. Unless you know you are in the market for one and have a spare 3 hrs of your vacation, do not take the tour that you will be asked about on more than one occasion, especially at the Sunset Beach resort. 9) Finally, Relax....Get in the rhythm of the surf and you'll be fine !

Room Tip: We stayed in both the Garden room model on the ground floor and the Ocean view on the 3rd. Both were...

service was great, location was amazing, food and drinks were plentiful, we want to be back there! we upgraded to a suite with a butler and we had such an awesome time service was great. great pools could stay in there all day with the swim up bar and free drinks as its all inclusive. so reasonably priced as well, so worth it, planning our return trip already.

Room Tip: ask if they promotion for the suites with a butler, makes the experience whole lot more amazing

And we enjoyed it as much as we did our last two visits. The food continues to be excellent and the staff outstanding. Gregario Castro in Siempre continues to offer impeccable service, Blanca poolside was always ready with a big smile and great service and Adriana in activities can't be beat. It's the perfect resort for a quiet, peaceful getaway!

This was the second time at this resort, and... once again it was excellent. The first time the winds were a little bit annoying but this time due to the install of the wind protection on the west side of the resort there was no issue.
The rooms were attended two times a day to ensure enough clean towels were available. The landscape was neatly looked after, manicured throughout the day - guests!!! please don't walk on the nicely maintained sand on the grounds, you can do that on the immensity of the sand on the beach.
The food was exquisite and the servers always had a big smile on their face. Clean and safe everywhere you eat, with much attention and supervision.
A big thank you goes to: Gregorio Castro, The Pueblo Pacifica Chef, Blanca, Sandra, Leopoldo, Frang, Julio, Olivia, Antonio, Yannie, house keeping, ground keeping, and many more.
