Never have I experienced such attentive and friendly service. Never once did we notice the hint of a frown or a sour look on any face of the employees of the Gran Regina. They all seemed to really enjoy their work and their work place.

We had a three bedroom habitation. The rooms were all large and beautiful. The Televisions in the side bedrooms had connections so that we could hook up our Ipads and watch Netflix.

The kitchen was well-equipped but surprisingly small even though it enjoyed a full-sized refrigerator and a dish washer.

The jacuzzi on the porch was quite hot and easy to access and the views from it weree were grand.

The swimming pools were exquisite and warm.

The beach had the most fascinating shapes of vividly colored rocks. The resort is built on a rock and large granite rocks extend down to the shore snd ocean. The waves are loud and awe inspiring.

Because the resort is built on a mountainside, six stories separate the lobby from the pool at the base of the resort. So you can, if you wish, get some good exercise by walking the stairs. During the rain storm, the elevators were shut down briefly so walking then was the only option.

The views from the various heights of the resort are spectacular, escpecially the views toward the southwest along the beach. What a majestic stretch of beach and ocean, miles of smooth, white sands, landscaped with sculpted rock formations against a shimmering sea with turquoise and frothy waves pounding the sands.

The waves are too rough and the currents too swift to swim in the ocean, but Chileno Beach is only a five minute drive. There we enjoyed some of snorkeling better than Hawaii: large fish in great variety and big ones too.

This resort is pure class. I doubt you will find anything classier in Los Cabos.

We have stayed at the Grand Regina many times and our most recent stay was wonderful. Our 3 bedroom condo overlooked the Sea of Cortez and we fell asleep every night to the sound of crashing waves. The beach, pool, fitness center and restaurants were great. The staff was excellent, friendly and the concierge was helpful with booking restaurants, transportation, golf, etc.

Room Tip: All three bedroom units overlook the beach.

We recently spent a week at the Grand Regina Resort, located in the corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. This is a pristine, waterfront resort built high on a mountainside, adjacent to the beautiful Westin Los Cabos. As such, you are able to enjoy all of the amenities of Grand Regina and the Westin, as well. We had never traveled to this area of Mexico before so were very excited. This was our last family trip before sending our daughter off to college.
Prior to our arrival, their concierge, Carlos Prado, was extremely helpful with all of our plans. He arranged airport transfers, planned our fishing trip, and sent me all menus for dining on property. We were able to pre-order groceries which were there when we arrived. Additionally, he provided us much information on other activities to help us plan our week.
Having traveled all around the world, we can truly say that this was the most beautiful locale we have ever visited. All of the staff was so friendly and we quickly became very spoiled. From the beautiful pools, the swim up bar, and the wonderful restaurant...we really felt we had landed in paradise! Our 3 bedroom villa was spacious and the 5 of us were able to relax and enjoy family as well as quiet time. Our private hot tub on the balcony was a little piece of heaven for us each day.
All of the food was amazing! The menu by the pool is varied, from caesar salad to nachos, quesadillas to delicious tacos and hamburgers, there is something for everyone. Highlights were steak quesadillas, guacamole, and the shrimp tacos. The restaurant, El Ciruelo, has the most beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez. They have a great menu and presentation is unbelievable. My husband and son were able to catch mahi and tuna on their fishing trip. That night, the staff picked up our fish and the chef prepared a beautiful dinner for us, for just a $25 charge. We finished our fish the following day by the pool (tempura mahi and grilled tuna tacos)!
This is absolutely the finest place we have ever stayed and we can't wait to come back! I recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect Los Cabos vacation.

Room Tip: 2 or 3 bedroom villas, all have full kitchens and private hot tubs. They are built in a stepped pattern so ther are no bad ones, for sure. Can't go wrong here!

Enjoyed a long weekend stay at the Grand Regina. The place was beautiful. Our villa had a great view of the ocean from our room and balcony. The hot tub in the corner of the balcony was nice to sit in and enjoy the views. The staff was extremely attentive and strived to go above and beyond! The pools were pristine and the view was spectacular. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was great

We stayed at the Grand Regina for a long weekend of rest and relaxation. Our villa was amazing and had everything you could possibly need. The views from our balcony were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub on our balcony as we watched the waves come crashing in. The staff accommodated our every need and made us feel like royalty. The pools are incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there and hope to return soon. Great for adults but probably not enough late night activity for teenagers and young adults.
