We stayed at La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya) from July 31- August 9. It is our cousins condo and they only rent to family and friends so I won't go into details about the actual unit. As it has been stated before, the grounds are beautifully taken care of! There are 2 pools, one a bit larger than the other. Lots of loungers around the pools plus 3 or 4 tables with chairs and Umbrellas around each pool.
Walk past the one pool and you are in the sand of a great beach where our kids played in the waves on Boogie Boards most days. Our kids are 16 and 18 so they could handle the crashing waves but IMHO it isn't a place for smaller children to play.
We found it very easy to get around from La Jolla as there is a Bus Stop across the street where you can catch the Bus to Cabo San Lucas and next door at the Bel Air Resort there are always taxis. We could walk to the Mega(10 to15 minutes) and a Taxi from the Mega back to La Jolla would cost us about $7 US. A taxi to downtown San Jose cost us about $10 US.
This was a great place to stay!
