The resort is beautifully re-done after the hurricane. Food was much better than usual all-inclusive fare.
Staff were all attentive and friendly. Service was superior. We stayed in a master suite - simply gorgeous. Quiter resort with good but simple entertainment. (not for the party crowd) Needs a shop for basics like sunblock etc but minor issue. We had a fabulous, relaxing, comfortable and fun week. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went for a week long vacation In March 2017. We had an fabulous time. The staff was beyond amazing!!! Carlos who worked on the beach and Edgar who worked at the pool are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They went out of their way to make our vacation perfect. They were personal, friendly and extremely attentive. We enjoyed talking to them and looked forward seeing and talking to them everyday. Not only were they amazing all the staff was. They all made you feel like you were the only one there, you felt like royalty.
Our only complaint was the lack of entertainment. There was absolutely nothing to do at night. If there was something going on it would start by 8 and end by 8:45. The fire pit wasn't even on. The food was great but very few selections. Not all of the restaurants were open. I think all the restaurants weren't open because it was very slow when we were there.
We would DEFFINETLY go back.The resort was immaculate, beautiful, and top notch. The rooms were impeccable, beds luxurious, and the décor and grounds were breath taking. If they worked on the entertainment it would be a perfect, five star resort. We can't wait to go again.

Joe, Julio, Fernando (activities) was the best staff I ever had on vacation. They were very pleasant and attentive to all our needs and deserve a standing ovation for their service. I recommend this hotel specifically because of their service! Good job!

This is a very nice all-inclusive. The room is spacious, updated and very clean. Ours had a beautiful view of the grounds and the Sea of Cortez beyond. The pool and beach areas were very nice, clean and comfortable. Excellent poolside service as well. Many selections offered for dining, and all were very good. The service across the board was really great at this resort.
We really only had 2 negatives: 1) we only had 1 coffee mug, and when we asked to have another sent up....we didn't get it for about a day and a half. 2) WE had a great experience at the Asian restaurant BANA the first night, but the second time we went, there was no consistency with the meal items. The same items that we had ordered the first night, were completely different the second time....but that was ok because we were able to go to the steak house a little while later and get some food that we really liked and wanted.

Room tip: Beach view is nice - I think garden view faces some new construction

The highlight of our stay in this hotel has to be the service. Esteban, Juan Carlos and Yosimar were truly wonderful and made us feel like we didn't have a care in the world. They recommended beaches, activities, restaurants in town and sights to see. They tirelessly carried chairs down for us and made sure we always had everything we needed. The drinks from the beach bar were some of the best we've had in Mexico. We felt completely safe knowing lifeguard Yosimar was paying close attention and letting us know daily where it was safe to swim based on the conditions, which seem to vary greatly day to day and between morning and afternoon. They really are fantastic hosts.

The beach has a designated swimming area perfectly fine for children. Just ask Yosimar about swimming outside of it, most of the time it's fine. For watching big crashing waves walk East about 1km down the beach, past the rocks. Stay out of the water, it's rough!

We mainly ate at the Market Grill and the other restaurant across the hall. Food quality in general was exceptional. Service was always excellent, there was always a good selection of food. We honestly were most excited about the traditional mexican dishes at the buffet rather than the fancier things on offer at Mole, the more upscale Mexican restaurant on site. The lasagna and ravioli were exceptional as was the tuna and all the chicken dishes - all cooked to perfection.

Breakfast selection at the buffet is excellent - there is bacon and eggs type stuff as well as traditional Mexican dishes and fresh fruit for breakfast, pastries, pancakes, yogurt, etc.
There is always a salad bar at lunch and dinner. The dressings are made in house and are very good, lettuce is always fresh/crunchy. We visited it daily.
Desserts are really good. We had a hard time controlling ourselves.

The room was very clean, staff do a fantastic job and come in twice a day (!).
Room service is included, very nice. Coffee is great, both in the room (espresso machine in the room, cleaned daily by staff) and at the bars and restaurants.

We really liked the Lobby bar, a very nice lady named Ana would remember our drinks from day to day. Look for her, she's the best! We would go there in the morning for coffee as well, and were always greeted with a smile by the morning staff.

Very few complaints - we'd rather hear the waves while walking the ourdoor paths than the music from outdoor speakers. Just personal preference.
Fantastic place, we'll be back!
