Yes its expensive and the new Mexican taxes really bump the price but everything about this resort screams relax and have a Margarita! We went for ten days and today was our last day. Food at the madero is awesome and 99% of the staff were friendly and our room service was great. Sometimes you needed to ask for things but you could always get it. Please don't let reviews of not getting a check deter you as in Mexico it is customary not to rush patrons. And I would like to say Juan Carlos and Gunmaro at the bell desk are fine individuals who take care of their guests. I did not get to know the cleaning staff bit everyday we had a new towel animal and turned down service. BTW cell reception was great. You will pay for WiFi, buy more days to get a discount. Enjoy, we sure did!

A group of us stayed her for a week in March and were just blown away from start to finish. This property is about a 30 minute drive to the airport, 15 minutes to San Jose del Cabo and 30 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. The lobby is grand and inviting and the great service begins right away with the bell and valet staff greeting you with a friendly face. Check-in was quick and easy, great English spoken and understood throughout. One aspect I really appreciated was that the bellman load your bags and wait with you while you check-in. It is a pet peeve when they hastily take your luggage and it appears in your guest room an hour or more later meanwhile you are dying to get to the pool! Not here, they wait right with you, kindly walk you to your room and don't linger like a weirdo for a tip afterwards.

Rooms-The rooms are amazingly large and comfortable! They have so much charm and authentic Mexican character. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious and had a nice tub. The rooms were also positioned just so, that even first floor rooms with ocean-view had a nice full view. Everything was very clean and the beds super comfy.

Facilities-The pools are great and each have their own vibe. The infinity pool is the main pool and had a swim-up bar and nice shallow areas for standing. The smaller pool (Dorado) was quiet but I liked that it didn't feel like it was in the middle of nowhere. There was still a little grill and bar.

Restaurants-I didn't eat at the Italian restaurant but heard raving reviews from all who had. It looked so romantic at night. El Meson, authentic Mexican, had a lovely breakfast buffet that I could've eaten for all meals! Lunch and dinner was good there also. Madero, the palapa restaurant/grill next to the main pool was my favorite. Fish tacos to-die-for!! SEriously! On our first day, we were enjoying our amazing fish tacos thinking life couldn't get much better and all of a sudden, we saw a full double whale breech, right from our table! Amazing! We also enjoyed the DELI which doubles as a gift shop/convenience store. They had some fresh salads, paninis and good breakfast bites.

Beach-Cabo is definitely not known for its beaches but the Hilton has one of the nicer that I've seen there. It is public and there are vendors but not many. There is a small roped-off swimming area also.

I can't wait to go back!

As a diamond member I have stayed in many Hiltons everywhere in the world and I have to say this hilton is one of the best- so good it could be a Conrad.
Apart from the great location on a beautiful beach, 2 things are striking about this hotel: 1) the staff is consistently wonderful, smiling, willing to help and delivers top notch service. 2) the premises are so well kept and in perfect condition. Even the Bora bora hilton was not as well maintained. We ate all of our meals out so I cannot tell about the food. I used points for a short 3-day and thought the choice was excellent especially for such a low redemption rate.

This is an awesome resort. Had 1 day of meetings and 6 of R & R. So easy to unwind. Staff is always here but does bother you. Great pool service. Great food. Great suggestions from the bellmen on restaurants in town. I would return in a heartbeat.

Thank you for this review. It sounds like you got the ratio just right on your business trip, with only one day of meetings before you got the chance to bask in the relaxation of our resort, worry-free. We hope you will find the opportunity to return sooner than later. Thank you again.

My family of 4 and I just finished a 6 day vacation at the Hilton in Cabo San Lucas this past week. I have never been in a resort that pays some much attention to details as this resort! From the pick up at the airport by Jorge, who made my family feel right at home to the pre- completed registration to Alberto at the pool providing us lunch, drinks and a laugh in the hot sun, this place Rocks! The level of service during these past 6 days was off the charts. Room was impeccable, pools, to die for, and the meals rivaled the best meals I have had in the US!

Even the attendant, Gregorio at the Guard house met us with a "welcome, we are expecting you! The housekeeping staff was courteous and at 3 pm daily, frozen popsicles handed out to all pool goers by the happiest staff member at the resort!

I met the GM Tim Booth on my departure and shook his hand for a job well done. We will be back!

Room Tip: Room on the first floor Ocean front well worth the money!

If you are looking for a resort that is not all-inclusive, you should consider the Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort. It's a bit further from downtown Cabo, but worth it. The property is beautiful and includes a swimable beach which is rare in Cabo. You don't get the typical crowds that you see at all-inclusive resorts and the food was excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are so glad that you enjoyed it and found our resort to be a refreshing alternative to the all-inclusive options in the corridor. You're absolutely right that our swimmable beach is a rare perk of our location that we are happy to share with guests. Thank you again for your review.

Fantastic experience all around- beautiful, clean room, immaculate grounds, fantastic service... could not have been more pleased. Would highly recommend the couples message at the spa! We had requested an room upgrade when we made the reservation and were placed on a waiting list. Who really believes in this list? Long behold, we offered the upgrade. Our room was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view!
