“Great place for a family or group!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 October 2013

We came with friends who own the time share at Club Regina. They had never been at this location so no one knew what to expect. The resort is lovely, very clean. Open air lobby, staff is friendly and helpful. There are full kitchens in the suites...go to Walmart/Sams/Costco to stock up. Having cereal/muffins etc on hand in the morning is great, and snacking during the day is ideal if you brought your kids.

VERY hilly, walking around the resort is exercise not relaxing. Set on the top of a cliff, to get to the beach you wind down in a spiral...to get back up, it is a trek. You can call for a pick up in a golf cart type vehicle to take you around the resort, but if it is raining they aren't running. BTW: non swimmable beach!! don't be an idiot and climb rocks or swim here.

Rooms are very clean with a full bath for each room including main living area. Beds were AWESOME, very comfortable. Maid service on a daily basis is an extra cost, but worth it. View from balocony unbeatable, I enjoyed the sunrise with coffee every morning.

Food in restaurants mediocre at best...and overpriced. Service on the slow side. I would recommend eating off site.

20 minute cab ride ($38) to Cabo, and 10 minute cab ride to San Jose. This is the main downfall...going back and forth is expensive. So consider renting a car.

Love Cabo San Lucas. Golf is to die for. Resort is a special place. There is a happy hour somewhere on the premise staring at noon clear til 7pm. My only criticism would be need for more dining choices, but can't complain about quality.

Room Tip: Get a room on the beach.

My mother bought a timeshare here about 4 years ago. I never thought these words would be exiting out of my mouth, but what a phenomenal decision it was. I love this resort. Although children friendly, there generally isn't a lot kids. Is there are, they are well behaved and quiet. The views are unbelievable. Every room has outstanding views! There is an amazing big bathtub in the bedroom, you can open a window and hear the waves crash at night. The service is amazing. Laura the
Manager is fabulous! She is competent and always looking to please. To her I owe a lot of gratitude. Alfredo is one of the bellboys and is top notch! He is attentive and genuinely a very nice guy. Alexi is great at the bar; fun and makes a mean cocktail. The pools are great! Inizio is a pretty good restaurant. For being
on grounds it's definitely worth it one night.
All in all I look forward to making the 2.5 hour trip from San Francisco each year to come here. I think it's important to add that although cabo San Lucas is great nightlife, San
Jose is an amazing little town that
offers great dining and entertainment as well. The location is ideal for me. Cabs are easily accessible and taxi rides are short. If you are looking for a "spring break" type of vacation, stay in cabo and go to
Mango deck. If you want tranquility and relaxation this is the
place for you!

The resort is connected to the Westin Hotel in between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo right on the water. We had a two-bedroom suite just off the beach that had just extraordinary views. Plus we could just hop from our patio down a small hill right onto the beach. I slept on a sofa bed in the main room which had a very inconveniently placed bar in the middle, but they brought me an extra mattress cover which fixed that. I can't express enough how beautiful and peaceful this place is. Granted we were there after the spring break crowd was gone and before the heavy summer heat. But between the gorgeous beach, the eight or so different pools to choose from, some with bars, it was a bit of heaven. Make sure you wake up early enough to watch the sun rise at least once.

We filled our fridge from the large supermarket off the highway coming down from the airport so we had a lot of meals on the patio. We never actually ate at any of the restaurants there, but we sure did take advantage of the pool bars. Great bartenders, though the drinks aren't cheap. Timeshare guests are allowed to use all of the Westin's facilities, like their pools and gym, which is nice. My only major quips were that parking is a real pain. They have very little self-parking, most of which seems to be taken up by a rental car company, so that adds to the cost. My final morning I woke up with some bug bites that I believe were mosquitoes, so beware of them. Also, at no fault of the place, you can't swim in the bay water. The undertow is too powerful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the bottom level closest to the beach. It's better than being close to a pool...

Just returned from a week stay. Weather was stormy off and on but enjoyable none the less. The rooms were great and the staff was excellent, they treated my wife and I like a King & Queen. We will definitely be returning !

The place had very nice views of the water but you can't swim here. The rooms very clean and the service was great. You have to take a golf cart everywhere unless you want to walk a lot up and down hills. The balcony was very relaxing. We stayed a few days at the resort to eat and did the all inclusive and the other days either cooked or ate out. The kitchen had all you need to do your own cooking and the mega or Walmart was nearby.
