The rooms were clean, but kind of dark. We had a nice private deck and kitchenette. A giant grocery store across the street for goodies, beer and wine. It was a nice walk to a very spacious, not crowded beach. The pool area is beautiful but completely shaded by 1:00 in the afternoon, not a great place for those of us that are there to worship the sun. It was also walking distance to local taco venders & Starbucks. David the concierge was so helpful in helping us navigate San Jose. Once you figure out the bus system, it's the only way to get around. We loved San Jose so much more than the crazy business in Cabo. Lots of art gallery's, incredible food, marina, scuba diving and relaxation. Didn't get a chance to golf though...next time.

This little resort grows on you because of the staff. What it lacks in 5 star decor, as seen in so many of the timeshares we have stayed in, it more than makes up for by the people that work there. The rooms are clean, and cleaned daily. No extra wall art or anything fancy, but who cares when you can spend the whole day by the pool and swim up bar and restaurant, which is family run. "Jose 3" and Ulie are the stars of the show. We felt like friends or extended family. Food is great, the Devil Woman Margareta is a happy hour treat! Be sure to ask for it!

This Park Royal resort is about one hour north of the main Cabo tip where most of the action takes place. It is a small resort but the plus side is there is no all inclusive requirement. The restaurant does serve food at a reasonable cost and there was a kitchen in our room. Plentiful restaurants in the area. This area is a "in progress" building up of retail shops etc.

Compared to the massive resorts located in Cabo, this place is tiny. The resort was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They accomodated my requests (fridge in room with no extra cost). One staff member Violeta was very sweet with my kids, even bringing them mangos from her home. The staff members were VERY kind to my children, which is something you don't see much these days. There seems to be a anti-child trend growing, but I felt very comfortable with my children here. The room was nice, overlooking a garden/golf course. Downside, the pools are WARM, very WARM. I wouldn't recommend them if you want to cool down. Location: Located down the hotel row, but maybe a block behind the main road. You do have to walk if you want to get to restaurants/shops and the Mega Store, but it's a nice stroll weather permitting. Internet use is only in the lobby area and they charge, which is a bummer. I wish that would change. There's a Jean's coffee shop down the street that has wifi with purchase. Starbucks too. But overall, pleasant stay.

Studio room was fine for a weekend stay and had a fridge in the room. For a longer stay I would book a room with a kitchen. It is walking distance to the large Mega supermaket so easy to get food supplies to cook for yourselves for a longer stay. Staff are very friendly and the room was very clean and up to date. There is a small pool and nice lounging beds around it. A car helps to get around but you can manage by using the good local bus service that stops at the end of the road. On the Booking.com website when I booked my room it said the internet was free. When I arrived at the hotel they tried to charge me a daily fee. This was only removed when I had them contact Booking.com.

Room Tip: Book one with a kitchen for a longer stay

If you want five stars this is not the place for you. They don't have a spa, ice machine or a warm jacuzzi. This is perfect to sleep in, cook a ligjt breakfast and go out all day and sight see Cabo. I stayed with two friends and we all slept comfortable. Two queen size beds and a pull out sofa bed. The room was of good size and the kitchen was fully equipped. The bathroom was OK, small sink but ample shower. Room service has a 5% surcharge, and the walls are thin because I could hear my neighbors TV and their conversations. Overall good value for the money. Wish the jacuzzi NWA's heated.
