We have just returned from our final coastal walk of the week, from Hope Cove to Bolt Head and back across Bolberry Down. No need to take the car as there are wonderful walks from the cottage, with spectacular scenery all around. Today we had blue skies and sunshine all the way. Now I am enjoying the fantastic view from Port, with evening sun streaming in through the windows. Looking forward to an amazing sunset! Port is comfortable, clean, cosy and well equipped: everything we look for in a relaxing holiday. I highly recommend it if you love walking by the coast, as we do. Fantastic location and a beautiful place to stay. Lovely little touches to make the stay even more enjoyable. It's the first time my husband has been so relaxed during a holiday and didn't have itchy feet feeling he had to tick off the lonely planet itinerary. Mainly down to the spectacular views and sunsets and home from home accommodation. Thank you!! I would recommend Port and will be back. We had 4 adults and two very young children and we had everything we needed. Fantastic!

Port was fabulous. Location was just perfect and views to die for! Outside furniture was 'tired' looking and would benefit from a makeover.

This place is superb the house is so well equipped, comfortable, just a home from home. The views are unbelievable to sit in bed with a morning cuppa watching the waves tolling across the beach is the most fantastic sight ever. Cannot praise it enough the description and photographs were very true. When we arrived saw the house and the view we thought we had died and gone to heaven

Location location location really is right , the views from here are just amazing, from people watching, wave watching to bird watching from the balcony , the lounge and the bedroom. The house is comfortable, comes with parking and has some very thoughtful touches from lovely books and games for the children , to lanterns and candles for the balcony.
We have just returned from celebrating new year, where we had a super time. Hope cove is a gorgeous place with lots of lovely walks a fantastic beach cafe "The Cove", a handy shop and a pub . Walking to South Milton sands is a must, as is the massive walk to salcolmbe with a taxi back! We met so many people who were VERY jealous of the views we were waking up to each morning. Correspondence with the owner was excellent and we also met the cleaner on the beach who does a fantastic job. Would defiantly go back to look out to sea and to watch those crazy surfers! Our dog loved it too and is still exhausted from all the fun he had!
