Pleasant surroundings in this smallish bistro, with limited views out onto the waterfront and beyond, and the service is very good. The sirloin steak I ordered was tasty and well presented. The wine list leaves a lot to be desired. We had a very ordinary Chilean cabernet which took us back nearly £22, but the (very few) other choices looked even more uninspiring. In summer you'll have to book in advance as this place is popular.

We walked in here for dinner after being on the local beach - they were fully booked but offered us a table that was available for the next 50 mins, which we took. The service was excellent and the food was even better we had the sesbass and the fish & chips followed by the cheesecake and profiteroles and would recommend all dishes. We also had our 22 month old with us and they were happy to provide a small plate for her to share our meals however they offer a kids version of their main menu which is great to see - non of the deep fried rubbish you see in most places. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

We popped in for lunch and had Cullen Skink as a starter - oh boy it was delicious although we both reckoned the one at Banff house was marginally better. Nevertheless this was really good.

Then we had Chilli Fish. It was absolutely stupendous. Haddock with spices dipped in corn meal and flash fried served on spicy rice with a sweet and sour chilli sauce (not hot but full of flavour). Afterwards we rolled back to Motorhome for a doze. If you eat here please try it.
