We liked the hotel which was clean, charming and modern, but it does not have a restaurant nor kitchen, nor breakfast. It is on the "outskirts" of downtown. We were saved by a wonderful hotspot bar around the corner, in which we ended up in every night. Location is important as it is the first place in Mexico where we saw armed military patrolling the streets and were told to be specially careful after dark.

This beautiful hotel resembles a beautiful "colonial" house. The rooms are set around a central open garden. All the rooms are very modern, but a bit austere. With exception of bran new Plasma TVs, there aren't many amenities (no safe box, no hair dryer, no mini-bar). The bathrooms are beautiful, well stocked, and very clean. The hotel is well located, but close to the street. If you plan on going to sleep early; this is not the hotel for you. You can hear the trucks until 11pm. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel does not have a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, or fitness center.

On a business trip to Morelia I chose Casa Madero based on Trip Advisor reviews, unfortunately I had a terrible experience. Got to Morelia on the last flight out of Mexico City lose to midnight and stood outside in the rain as the hotel doors were closed. Phoned the hotel to no avail and was about to hail a cab when someone finally showed up. Usually on small hotels like this one there is a doorbell, not the case here. No apologies or explanations were given as to why no staff members were in sight. Although advertised as close to the Cathedral, it is a 20 minute walk. Definitely not for tourists. Additionally if you are here on a weekend there is a very loud club just in front of Casa Madero - if you are bothered by noise don't even consider this place. Rooms are stylish but extremely small and lack safe deposits .Last complain, as mentioned before there is no restaurant in the premises, which may not seem that inconvenient at first but given the hotel's location it can be a bit of hassle to find somewhere to eat at night or early in the morning. Staff were unhelpful recommending places to eat close by.

a new hotel very modern and clean with no services. Quiet because away from everything Anything can be walking distance it is a question of time availability and good shoes and the hotel is really at a 20 min from the action ie the cathedral and restaurants. Very good for a businessman not a tourist. And having paid for a suite to get a sofa in a regular room with no window nor heat, and breakfast included being a horrible coffee with a little slice of cake is very disapointing

Room Tip: ask for a room with windows

Stayed here for a quick business trip.
The architecture is really good of this hotel is really nice and merges with the downtown architecture, service was better than expected and

Pros:
- Location, close to the cathedral and within walking distance of several restaurants
- Service, personel is professional, well trained and focused on service
- Confortable, sleep quiality is impresive and even thought the hotel is close to several restaurants and bars, at night everything is calmed and QUIET! which is perfect.

Cons.
Its brand new (+1 year old) so is missing a few key things like:
- Restaurant
- Bar
- Good Parking lot
- Room service
- Pool
- Gym

Overall, the hotel is a nice stay for a Business or Pleasure trip, I would definitely stay again next time.
