Tiny restaurant tucked away in a minute SW Tuscan village.
Large and attentive staff, immaculately turned out and presented.
Food equally immaculately presented too. Two Amuse Bouche came to start with, and the remaining courses were also interspersed with small and delightfully tasty offerings.
The Tartare Geometries starter was particularly impressive. a circle, triangle and a square of steak tartare, but each with different flavours added.
Equally good was the thyme-scented wild boar main course (picture attached) and also the piglet main course (also pictured).
The wine list must weigh around 3 kilos in weight, and if you can't find anything on it to suit you then I guess you are not a wine-drinker. It might be best, though, to visit in advance and choose a wine, or alternatively to ask for the list before being seated in order to give yourself sufficient time to give it the serious attention which it deserves.
We had two allergies in our party of six, and these were dealt with smoothly and professionally.
In short - Expensive, but worth every single penny for a special occasion. The Michelin stars are certainly not misplaced. Wonderful.
