We were almost the only customers when we called in here for coffee on a quiet, damp morning whilst following the Lawrence of Arabia trail and visiting the nearby church (150 meters) and grave (155 meters, both level with good wheelchair access). A pleasant welcome, quick service and the coffee was good. A good range of cakes on display.

Parking was easy outside on the road at this time but there is a free off road car park near the graveyard. Sometimes coaches stop and the place can be very busy. Open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. with a good range of eats and drinks. Lots of awards held. Good allergy product information available. Loos were clean. Pleasant outside area. Lots of tables. Easy disabled access throughout.

There is a T E Lawrence room with interesting material on display. Worth a browse.

We will happily return.

Brilliant Cream Tea and cakes in an inviting setting. This gorgeous cafe had such a welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. Both of these things were complimented by the scrumptious cakes.

Great coffee and cakes, and a really interesting lunch menu. Hidden in a small hamlet but worth the journey. Link it with a visit to Moreton Church to see Laurence Whistler's wonderful engraved windows.

Lovely building in an idyllic little village
Wasn't impressed with staff quite rude
I went to counter to order as didn't know you had to wait for waitress service as no menus to be found outside
Was given a filthy look by one of the waitresses
Order taken food did arrive quickly but scone in cream tea was rock hard !!!!!
Wouldn't recommend

I just can't see how this place got to be award-winning! The loos particularly are less than mediocre! We called in for an early tea at 3 pm and many tables were still uncleared from lunch.

I'm sorry you found the Tearooms a disappointment. We do serve lunch until 3.30pm so whilst I don't like to make excuses it is conceivable that the tables were not long vacated. We hope that you enjoyed your tea.
