“The Best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2012

We are regular visitors to Rame Barton, the service provided is excellent, with 5 Star B & B accommodation. We are always given a very warm welcome by Karen and Paul, who we now regard as friends. We just love visiting the place.

Wow, what a beautiful place! Fantastic coast drive to get there sets you in the mood for rugged Cornish beauty. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by Karen, who couldn't have been more organised or helpful. Rame Barton itself (an old farmhouse) is spacious, bright and airy, not your typical cramped B&B. The room that we had, had the most comfortable bed I can remember sleeping in. The breakfast and breakfast room was to die for, locally sourced, cooked to perfection and fit for a king. The surrounding villages are great, lots of lovely shops, pubs, walks and beaches. Highly recommended, and wait to be back again in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rame Barton.
The owner's had kindly given us a self-catering apartment which was very clean, spacious,
equipped with everything you would need for a longer stay and beautifully finished.
All the little finishing touches made the room perfect. The owner's provide helpful information
about the local area, which is unspoilt and cornwall at its best. The breakfast was delicious
and all sourced locally. We had such a fanatstic stay, when leaving we booked our next visit there and then.

As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome , our bedroom and on-suite was lovely, as was the rest of the house . The breakfast made from local produce was fantastic .
Although my wife and I could only stay one night , we wish we could have stayed longer.
In fact we are already planning a longer visit , this time with the kids.
I would have no problem what so ever recommending a stay here.

Room Tip: The room we stayed in was lovely , I also saw a family room which was just as nice.

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at the nearby fort. The room was very comfortable, clean and cosy, breakfast was lovely (and huge!) and the owners were incredibly helpful.
Would highly recommend, especially if attending a wedding at the fort - it's a very pleasant 10 minute walk/2 minute drive away.

What a lovely B&B. We were going to a wedding at the fort which is so close and Karen gave us a lift to the venue. Brilliant. The room was clean and oh so comfortable. Generous portions with the tea/coffee/milk in the room. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and lots of it. On arrival we had a warm welcome from Paul who was so helpful. He suggested and booked us a table at a local pub for our evening meal which was great. The view from our window was lovely. No problem parking the car. We will be returning for a walking weekend at some point this year. We would not look further for accommodation in this area.
