Exceeded my expectations, first thing I noticed was how clean and fresh it was, subtly decorated and for four in a room as we had requested, it was spacious. Owners and staff friendly and helpful without being intrusive and with local knowledge which us with our rusty memories of Cornwall. Although children under 14 are not allowed in the bar area - a policy that I completely agree with- we all love our children but when having a quiet drink other peoples are not so great!- the snug area and dining room gave us the opportunity to enjoy in the Inn feel as a family. Loved the coffee in the room and probably what made this such a relaxing place for us to stay was the private access to our room from the residents veranda and parking area. This enabled us to come and go as we pleased - an added bonus that we didn't expect from a B&B.Great Location for us, everything seemed to be within a 20 min drive.

Room Tip: Travelling with two children it was never going to be a romantic trip away - sharing one room obviou...

2 night stay over Bank holiday. Lovely self contained room family room with nice countryside views. Excellent parking and very convenient location for visiting North Cornwall situated on A39. Liked the separate entrance so you could come and go as you wanted to. Excellent breakfast. Glad I found it on the Internet, had been looking at staying at a Travelodge as you know what you get then, but this was so much better! So much more character and couldn't fault it. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed overnight whilst on a cycling holiday and had booked it the same day as it was recommended by the CTC (cycling organisation). We were made very welcome and loved our very spacious room which had great views, outside seating and a superb shower.
We dined in the bar/restaurant, very good food and service with plenty of choice on the menu.
A good breakfast next morning, again with plenty of choice.

Room Tip: If available, chose one of the newer ones at the back. The hotel is on a main road but you couldn...

We stayed here one night during our holidays in Cornwall. We were given a spacious room with cosy beddings and cushions. The room and bathroom were very clean. The house is old and has an “antique feel” with a lot of charm. There is a nice bar, and we had pub dinner which was tasty and plentiful. Our host was helpful and gave advice about historic and touristic places and event. A goodfull English breakfast with quality ingredients. Overall a very pleasant stay.

My husband stayed last night breaking his journey. The hosts were very welcoming and the room very small (the only one left when I booked) but perfectly clean and acceptable. Nice bar and restaurant. Great full English breakfast with good quality ingredients. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I stayed here as needed to spend a night in Wadebridge before a long walk the following day. Rob and Lesley were very welcoming when I arrived and made sure I had everything I needed. Nice Bar/Pub and restaurant area with a very homely feel. Beautiful setting and convenient location. My room number 7 was small, but I was warned as this was the only one left.
