“Lovely bungalow in a peaceful area”

This lovely new bungalow is located just two blocks from the beach in one direction, and two blocks from the main highway in the other direction where you can easily catch collectivos, buses and taxis (we never waited longer than five minutes). The journey into centro for the supermarket, market and the more swimmable beaches takes about ten minutes. The beach close to the bungalows has 'no swimming' flags all along it, but you can usually swim if you walk down to La Punta - wonderful to do just before sunset!

The area is lovely and quiet, and walkable in 20 minutes to either the main Zicatela area or the more backpackery area of La Punta. The bungalow itself was brand new when we moved in, and Julio was great about bringing us bits and pieces of kitchen equipment etc. as we asked for them. There's a hammock in the garden that's shaded for most of the day, and a couple of chairs on the little patio outside, which also has a ceiling fan and a powerpoint. The bed is a double, albeit on the slightly narrow side. There is hot water available, although we never wanted to use it! The kitchen is pretty well equipped (including a blender and a coffee machine).

Katrin (who speaks English) has been so helpful and is always on hand to help us with all sorts of queries. Thanks for a great stay!
