This was a very pleasant eating experience. We were greeted by Laini, our server, she has a great smile and a wonderful personality. We had crepes and an omelette for lunch. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Alesha the cook does an exceptional job cooking and presenting the food. The coffee was great and so were the juices. Cafe Ole is part of the Frutas y Verduras organization in La Punta that also has, rooms, cabins and camping available.

La Punta is just outside of Puerto Escondido and an easy walk from the Zicetela beach, about thirty minutes. We are having friends over tomorrow and we will walk to La Punta and have breakfast at Cafe Ole. It is that good.

Café olé is the ole to go if you want to have a nice breakfast at just 2 sec from the beach. Coffee is good, homemade bread, fresh fruit, and nice sandwiches. I had my breakfast there everyday. People working are cool, helpful and young, working at a slow but that's Mexcico

Excellent coffee and food. Double americano everyday, excellent omelets and crepes, and even had baked fish for dinner one night. Overall food was great and servers were great as well. They make fresh yogurt and granola. But, it was the friendliness of the staff that made this place for us. There was a little bit of a "stuffy surfer attitude" going on with a few of the other guests, so we were concerned we would get this from the staff. But to our surprise, they treated us (missionaries) really well. We plan large annual trips to Puerto to rebuild homes and work with a soccer ministry, and will definitely keep Cafe Ole on daily visit list.

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it. The cafe serves great organic and fresh food at a good price and all the staff are super relaxed and friendly. The hostel is a 5 min walk to paddle out for la punta so if your here to surf you will find no closer place. Great common areas and the 5 storey high surf observation tower is amazing! Great vibes here would recommend it for people staying in la punta. (The more laid back end of zicatela)

If you have had enough of Mexican food in Mexico this is the place to be. Great for vegans and vegetarians. Their wheat bread is baked locally and is hearty and delicious. I had a fresh juice everyday. The Nutella Banana crepes are GREAT. Even if you aren't staying in LaPunta it is worth the trip, especially for brunch.
