Giorgio and his wife were amazing hosts, the house is very well located and I loved the design which is made by Giorgio. They make wine and you can get the opportunity to buy and taste the wine, it is of a very good quality. The place has a parking spot and a beautiful view.
We stayed three nights, drank great wine, talked about interesting themes. It was a familiar atmosphere and we found new friends. We will back in August. From there you have a lot of possibilities of sightseeing and the surrounding is nice!
Thank you Giorgio and family
Giorgio and his wife are the friendliest people you will meet. They are super accommodating, helpful, and wonderful to talk to. When Giorgio found out we were planning on going to Venice and Roma, he made sure to give us lots of travel tips and even brought us down books. They also provide really good activities for a reasonable price. Sadly, I wasn’t there very long but I got to try some of Giorgio’s homemade food (all from his garden) and I definitely recommend it! Being in the vineyards of Italy is out-of-this-world beautiful and definitely worth being slightly far from the city. I recommend getting the details of the bus ahead of time from Giorgio because we definitely made a few mistakes. This place is wonderful and I definitely recommend it!
This was a great find in Valpolicella! Well-appointed one-bedroom apartment with kitchenette, big bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, and ceiling fan. It's on the property of a gorgeous working winery, overlooking rolling vineyards and distant mountains. We also booked the wine experience tour with winemaker Giorgio, who did everything possible to make sure we learned a lot and had a great experience. We got to taste a number of his delicious wines and his homemade salami. He's a wonderful teacher and host. We booked a three-course lunch at the winery for 15 euros a piece. Great local dishes prepared by Giorgio and his lovely wife Alexandra. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our 5-week tour.
