When we went to Magic World, the pirate ship with the smaller slides for kids (mentioned in the previous review) was not operational but the two large slides were. It was priced accordingly with the entry fee being only 30 pesos per person (less than $2.50). The water wasn't the cleanest and the bathrooms were not functional but we all had fun going down the 2 slides--my kids (7 and 11) went on the slide so many times, it was pennies per slide. We were staying right across the street so it was a good diversion toward the end of the trip. Check before you pay (they let us) what is operational--and if you can't simply walk over there, I wouldn't bother. When you first get there they do try to get you to buy some food or drinks (with a pleasant but persistent handing off of various menus) but after that they left us alone. There were very few people there so there was no line at all for the 2 slides.

Magic World is for little kids. Our daughter is 8 years old and had a good time. It opens at 10:30am. There is a big cement pirate ship, with about 7 waterslides off of it. They are small slides but good for kids. The pool is about 2 feet at the deepest part. Parent can go on the slide with the kids. The two big slides opened at noon, but when we went to try them, they weren't on anymore at about 1:30. There are a couple of restauants, which they come out and ask you if you want to order anything. The prices were good. We had Fries, chicken fingers and a drink for 50 pesos. There is a long canal swimming pool that goes throughout the area, and you can walk in it. There is supose to be a wave pool but it wasn't working.

Magic World is good for something different to do if your kids are bored of the beach. It is only $6.00us to get in. We couldn't find anyone who spoke english.
