We spent 2 nights at Elpitiya and this was an absolute highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The Heritage home has been lovingly and faithfully restored maintaining all of its old world charm whilst providing current ammenity. The house has an open and welcoming feel relying on natural breezes rather than air conditioning. We were very comfortable and able to relax totally whilst there.
The service was superb and attentive without being intrusive. We were served Sri Lankan dishes, all perfectly prepared with lots of variety and always more than we could hope to eat ourselves.
If your looking for a chance to relax, get away from the hustle and bustle, want to experience great hospitality, great Sri Lankan food, and appreciate old world charm you have to go here.
