This was our first trip to Hard Rock Hotels All Inclusive and had some trepidations as we were there 2 years ago when it was the Aventura Spa Palace and loved it. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed at the VIP check in, we knew we were back home again. We enjoyed one of the new suites they introduced in Building 2, 3rd floor 2306, the Terrace loft suite which along with the regular balcony, has a rooftop terrace where the Jacuzzi is with a couple of loungers, pretty sweet. Had such a fantastic view of the ocean and the Eden pool which is kind of a giant hot tub with water jets but not the temperature of a hot tub. We were in the quieter building 2. This resort with 1264 rooms has so much to offer that it will hard to cover it all here. The resort is split into two, Hacienda (Family) and Heaven (Adults) which gives you the choice of where you want to stay depending on your needs and desires. Love that part of this resort, you make it what you want. The distinct feels with two separate open courtyard style lobby with a glass roof for natural light. WiFi is everywhere including the beaches. Heaven is a quieter place with building 1 and 2 being farther away from the activities and can be totally quite. Heaven is a quieter place with building 1 and 2 being farther away from the activities and can be totally quite. Get closer and you have more pool activities and music. Club Heaven Disco (Adults Only) is quite unique and large. Enter it off the main Heaven Lobby and you have a large bar in the middle with a large sitting section to the left and some more seating near the back. The interesting part is to the doors on the right. It leads to the main disco on the lower level that has two pools in there with seating all around and glass railing. Lifeguard on duty. There is a great outside section to the disco with white leather furniture where you can hang out too.

Hacienda side has louder pool side music with more activities with a water slide and bubble ball in the pools. Kids club and teen clubs are both located in this area complete with video games and other great activities.

We must say we love the new décor which is fresh and current but did not lose the Mexican flair. The roughness of the Caribbean Ocean is muted by natural rock formations that create lagoons where fish swim around you and you don't have the rough waves that is sometimes an issue in Cancun.
