We booked this holiday "blind" using reviews etc, and arrived on a Saturday about an hour before check in time. The park is pretty spectacular, from its views to the facilities and upkeep. We all loved it: From my 5 and 9 year old, who were able to wander freely to the park (a bragging point for the 9 year old when she returns to school apparently!) safely; to the 38 year old who could fish to his heart's content from the sea wall a few minutes walk away, as well as from the sea a little further; to the 36 year old who experienced such peace and quiet that I'd return in the blink of an eye... quicker if possible! This truly is a very special place, and much as I would like to share our perfect van number, it will remain our secret! Just the best.
A bit of extra info for the area... Tesco Extra 5 mins drive; The Vine Pub 3 mins walk - simple, good food; Sally's Riding School - £25 pp for 1 hr... but good experience and taken on the beach; Owl and Monkey Haven - well worth a visit and food good value; Needles Park - bit like Blackpool at Land End but on a smaller scale, although the kids enjoyed filling their plastic shapes with sand, and we all loved the chair lift... ghastly queues to get into the park though; Blackgang Chine - quaint, tipped it down while we were there so queues were fine, but only two rides really; Osborne House - we all loved it, and could easily have spent longer in the grounds so advise a good picnic! Weather was awful whilst we were there, and if it had been better, could easily have spent hours on the beach at Puck Pool Park (great beach and surroundings), or simply around the beach by the caravan.
We loved it!!!
