I firstly have to say that the rooms and the hotel areas were spotlessly clean and a decent size. Fantastic shower. Just a few little things that let our overnight stay down. The reception staff were polite once they finished talking to each other and dealt with you. Also not very helpful when it came to food from the bar menu. My daughter has an allergy to certain cheeses, so when we asked if they knew what cheese was on the pizzas we were told 'No' and that basically was that, no offer to go and find out or anything like that so we went into Exeter to eat which was brilliant. As someone else stated the breakfast was cold and soggy. Even though it says 'Free' at the end of the day you are paying for this in the room rate, so you expect it to be hot. We had a room on the first floor which was directly above the restaurant, so all evening up until about midnight you could hear the drone of what must have been dishwashers or something. When I mentioned this to the reception staff in the morning, they just said it couldn't have been from Marco's as they shut and everyone goes home at 10:00pm. She did say that she would get someone to go up and listen that night!! Also watch out for the metal handles which stick out from the sofa bed, they hurt a lot when you walk into them when trying to draw the blinds!!! (Have the bruise to prove it)

Room Tip: Avoid first floor, above restaurant.

Stayed for one night this weekend just gone with my two sons. Hotel is new and was very nice, once located as the directions aren't brill. Room was great, beds were comfy, bathroom is very nice with a great shower. Very convenient for the M5.

Although not luxurious, breakfast was perfectly acceptable with plenty of options - there was cereal, toast, yoghurts, juice, croissants and muffins and some cooked items (bacon, sausage, beans etc) to choose from. There was a wide selection of teas too - dont drink coffee but assume there was that too...

Utilised Marco's Italian which is underneath the hotel for dinner on Sat night which was lovely.

We would definately stay again...

Fantastic value for money. Twin room with 3/4 size beds was spacious, well furnished & clean. Tea/coffee making facility in the room a nice touch. Make sure you get directions before you set off as the Satnav code took us to a business park & we spent 20min lost on country roads. You need to turn in at the airport & then head towards parking no.4 & continue about 200yards on a country road before turning right to where the hotel complex is.

great hotel for comfort. quiet rooms and get a bit of noise when people enter and exit there rooms due to heavy doors shutting, lifts take for ever to come used the stairs instead
Night staff could not do enough to help very friendly and welcoming, daytime
great for local stop if travelling to and from Cornwall or using the airport.
I stay and review lots of hotels across the country and quality for money is not bad, breakfast was good, free parking and it feels safe. I am actually based very local to hotel so it was a tester stay with not a good ending
Shame there is a lack of communication on booking terms between laterooms.com and the admin here after booking a room online as it states as follows
" advanced purchase rate requires full payment at time of booking and non refundable"
only to find on check out that i was given a bill of £52.00 to be paid on check out when my card details had already been processed online with confirmation booking was placed at 21:59 on 2nd of July so they had 2 days to process payment no excuses, stressful end

(laterooms.com confirms payment should of been completed before stay commenced by hotel).

other than that its ok !

Room Tip: floor 3 is very quiet even facing the road

Once you've found the hotel down a single track country lane it is a surprise to find a new hotel. The rooms are nice and the hotel is quiet. There isn't a hotel restaurant which is a let down but you can get very basic bar food. Breakfast was truly awful. The foid was cold and the facilities struggle to cope with the few guests that were staying overnight.

I stay in the West Country on a monthly basis, usually in a Premier Inn or another chain. On this occasion they were all booked so plumped for this hotel (£67.50 for family room and breakfast) and what a find. Elegant, modern and contemporary throughout. Our room was big enough for four (3 children and me) the TV was huge, sofa bed comfortable and the main bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that I have slept in. The shower was huge and powerful. In the bathroom were good quality complimentary toiletries. After being in our room for ten minutes the phone rang, I answered and it was reception asking if everything was OK with our room... Nice touch.. The room was quiet with a very good air conditioning system. Breakfast was included and it was a very good buffet selection. Served from 6am to 11am so good for people taking early flights as well as families. Check out was not until 12pm.. Another bonus. All in all an excellent stay in an excellent hotel.

Don't be put off by this hotel being between the A30 and an airport runway half a mile away. The noise insulation is superb.
Good clean rooms. Good welcome, small but useful gym.
Breakfast straighforward but adequate: fruit, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, toast.
In a relatively remote location, and you need a car etc to get there and into Exeter.
Shuttle to airport.
Good parking.
Will stay here again

Note to hotel, please put up some signs to show people how to get here. Sat Nav location does not work, and the only sign I've seen ( after 3 visits) is one the size of a postcard!
