So pleased we found this b&b nest to north Norfolk Coast. Amazing room. Welcomed like a member of the family.

Wonderful home made bread and their freshly laid eggs.

Highly recommended.

Large rooms. Really comfortable sitting area. Home from home with service!

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay, benefitting the privacy of an annex. We used the B&B as a base as we drove to various towns along the coast. We would highly recommend for both couples and families

Living in a rural backwater ourselves, we are not that used to finding accommodation that matches what we are used to. White House Farm is just idyllic. At night it is pitch black, and totally silent. We spent just one night here, but our 'room' really a self contained mini-apartment would have made a superb base for several days. If we had had longer, then I would have wandered into the lovely garden with a glass of wine to enjoy the evening sunshine, or taken one of the numerous paperback books to a shady spot and just chilled for an hour or two. But as White House Farm is so close to so many lovely places, you really are spoilt for choice. As to the hosts, well everything that has been said is completely true. It is impossible to oversell this venue.

Room Tip: Talk to the owners as they will offer you the best room or your needs.

Highly recommended. I travel worldwide (Europe, Asia, US, South America, Asia, Africa, Pacific etc) and this b&b is one of the best

Pro's
Great price

Service - the proprietor, Mary was so friendly, kind and helpful. They also recommended a local pub to eat at in the evening, was happy to book it and we were not disappointed.

On arrival we were offered tea/coffee and a delicious cake

The sitting room was very nice with the stairs, windows and wooden beams

The room comprised three rooms and a hall. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wooden beam etc. The bathroom was really nice with quality soaps etc. A slight downside was that the shower was electric and hence the water flow a bit slow but this is a minor issue. The separate room had chairs and a single bed with a separate door to the outside

Breakfast - really good, made from locally sourced food (eggs from the hens in the garden) and the bread was home made. Offered a bowl of fruit to start, followed by cereal followed by English breakfast in our case but a light option was also offered

The gardens were extensive with local flowers, hens, a pond, a cat and dogs. There were horses in the neighbouring field

Internet - this was available and was fast enough for emails etc

Con's
None

Room Tip: Any room will be nice. If you like wooden beams in your bedroom go for the room off the house. If...

I am reluctant to oversell this lovely b&b for fear it will become difficult for me to book again in the future. From the warm welcome to the fabulous annexe room, to the lovely gardens. The cakes and tea, really are a rather wonderful touch i have not experienced anywhere else. The place is immaculate. We could have happily moved in for a week. I have never had such nice fresh eggs either and im still motivated by the coffee i had 14 hours ago :-) thank you so much mary & tim.
All the other reviews are very accurate and i highly recommend white house farm to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, fabulously equipped quiet place to wind down and relax :-) see you both soon !!

Room Tip: The annexe is great and self contained, a real treat :-)

A welcome short break, met with warmth and made to feel party of the family, and that included our Dog. Upon arrival Tea and Cake was made available, of which was a welcome surprise. Our son was taken by the family pets, of which he adored. Enjoying the bike ride and local recreational play area.
We had a fantastic breakfast, along with our dog receiving a biscuit or two. Nothing was too much trouble, Mary and Tim aimed to please all the family. Thank you fir a lovely break, see you again in October.

A return visit was just what we needed. Mary and Tim hospitality is second to none, accommodation and location perfect for coast and countryside. It's great to come back after a day out and enjoy the peace of White House Farm. Our thanks to Mary and Tim again, Lynne, John and Poppy x
