We loved the beach in las conchas. The privacy, the sea of Cortez- the friendly neighbors all were great. We traveled into town for the best chicken ever at Lucas chicken.
The house did sleep 8 but it had not been cleaned when we arrived. We thought there would be a five gallon tank of drinking water- that never arrived. People were there within minutes to clean once we figured out who to call. A small inconvenience.
Overall it was a house right on the water -which is great. I would have liked a home with a few measuring cups, a fridge that was cold when we arrived, And the freedom to shower without fear of running out of water. Apparently las conchas has a water shortage, and the house only runs on a tank so with six people we were very worried about running out of water. We did not run out of water.... but we were much more conservative than comfortable.

Thank-You for your review. I will get some measuring cups for the house. The water issue is not just to Las Conchas. All of Rocky Point is experiencing a water shortage. Our home does not operate on a water tank. The tanks in the yard hold 1400 gallons of water, which are auto filled twice a week when the City of Penasco allows delivery to the neighborhood. My husband and I use less than 3000 gallons a MONTH at our home in Flagstaff, so there should always be plenty of water for the guests. We just let you know so that you are aware of it and don't allow children to play in the hose, etc.
