“Loved the Resort felt like Home!”
Reviewed 30 June 2013

Spent the weekend at the Princessa with our Family of 4. Was very impressed in the effort the Resort put into securing the guests and vehicles. We stayed in D207 when we arrived the condo was very clean and furnished with every item you could think off except food. The two bedroom condo also had movies of all sorts in each room including VHS movies. One bedroom even came with a pack and play for children. The downfall to this very nice room on the second floor was the many spiders on the walls and broken wall fan in back bedroom, along with many broken blinds in the living room and bedrooms. Besides keeping up with the insect population that could be dangerous if someone gets bitten the room was awesome and we cant wait to go back. Also there is a small grill and bar called the Agave the food wasn't very good mostly fried and bar type food great beer specials at happy hour and the pool and ocean are about 30 steps from the resort.

This was my first time in Rocky Point in 18 years!! I didn't know what to expect. WE rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo - building C, second floor. The views of the pool and ocean were wonderful. Furniture in the condo was nice. There was even a washer/dryer.
I felt safe the whole time we were there. Even when we went downtown to the fish market.
I cannot believe this is only a 4 hour drive for us. We will be going back - hopefully before the end of the summer.

Room Tip: I believe all the rooms are ocean view. all rooms have patio furniture, so you can sit outside.

Have been staying at this beautiful resort since 2001 and watched it grow into the secret treasure of Sandy Beach. It is smaller then several other complexes on the beach which gives it a special feel all to itself. We love the 3 bedroom unit B508 with a 500 sf master bedroom over looking the Sea of Cortez and Rocky Point. The view from both levels of this condo ican be considered a million dollar view! Rocky Point my favorite place on the beach! See you soon......

Room Tip: B508 and B509 look over the Princesa property wich is green and beautiful, the Sea of Cortez and Roc...

We took 3 of our girls to Mexico April 4-7th. When we approched The Princesa, there were security guards that made sure we were a guest on their list before we could enter the property. Once he found our name we were let in. I felt very safe where we were staying. The office staff was very nice and then we got to our room....we were in awe! As soon as we walked in the condo we knew we had the best spot. As a matter of fact a lady walked by and said "you guys have the best condo here". First thing we did was opened the patio door that over looked the ocean and the cool breeze blew through the condo. The pool was within sight from the patio along with the fish market down town. The kitchen had all the tools you need for cooking in and a nice refridgerator and freezer too. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast every morning on the patio. I am already booking my next visit next month and planning on a few more in Oct-Dec.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Princesa de Penasco Unit D505. This one bedroom unit was very nicely furnished with everything one could need to make their Holiday dreams come true. Even the weather was great. Pools were the only issue we had while there as the only one of the three that was heated had the cover on it most of the time when we were there. The beach was wonderful. Would definitely return.

Staying at Princesa A109 afforded us ground floor access to Sandy Beach (only a few steps away); room to spare on our own patio; pools & a spa (even closer); and massages on the patio (the info book provided by the owner pointed us to someone who came to us). We kayaked (we brought our own) with dolphins. But mostly we relaxed on the wicker furniture on the patio or under one of Princesa's private beach palapas, or with our toes in the water.

Princesa offers a rich community of individual condo owners, guests, and security support staff that watch after us 24/7. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when down at Rocky Point. A109 is a 2BR/2BA condo with beautiful hand carved Mexican furniture, and all the accouterments of home: flat screen TVs, iPod/CD stereo, full kitchen (the owner loves to cook), & very comfy beds. Best of all is the ground floor access to our vehicle and to all the beach activities.

Room Tip: Each condo is individually owned, so ask for A109, which on the ground floor A tower, which gets mor...

My wife and I and friends stayed at the Princesa when everyone else was telling us to go to some of the other, larger resorts. I'm glad we stuck with our decision to stay at the Princesa. It is a smaller resort that has buildings that are only five stories tall instead of the monster towers like the others. We felt that it gave it a much calmer, peaceful atmosphere....exactly what we wanted. We stayed in D307, a two bedroom condo and it was in great shape...it felt consistent to what we imagined for a stay in Mexico with all the comforts of home. The resort had three pools and the beach is fantastic. We even did some tide pooling in the morning when the tide was way out and saw an octopus. We also liked that there was a restaurant on site as well as next door so we had breakfast, lunch and dinner covered if we didn't want to leave the beach. We also walked next door to a great bar called Chango's that had live music....no driving for us....perfect. Next time we go, we are staying there. :-)
