My wife and I have not stayed in B&B accommodation for many years, we decided we would like a relaxed and peaceful break, so after looking through the Sawdays book we decided to try NETHERWOOD
LODGE after reading the excellent reviews.
We arrived late in the afternoon down a small country lane, where Margerat greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome, we were shown our room which was room no1 with twin beds and on suite, then Margerat showed us into her charming garden for some tea and homemade cake, after settling in Margaret suggested local pubs close by where we enjoyed some great food.
Next morning at breakfast Margaret had served up a superb selection of her homemade yogurt, jams and freshly baked bread, we then tucked in to one of her cooked breakfasts and freshly brewed coffee or tea before setting off on many local attraction suggested by Margaret.
So to sum up staying at NETHERWOOD LODGE with Margaret can only be a pleasurable memory in every way, for every little detail is taken care of, a great place in the Sussex countryside, and a charming lady to make your stay fantastic in every way, we will certainly be going back again.
