It was the first time for us to stay at a resort hotel in Korea and probably we will not do again. It is not worth the money which you spend, each motel or pension brings more value for your money.
When we entered our room (at 5:30pm!), it was still not cleaned from the previous guests. How can it be that they assign you a room which is not ready? The buildings is quite old, the ondol (floor heating) is only centrally controlled. As result, the rooms are overheated all night long and you only can survive with open windows (not really environment friendly). We booked a suite for 5 persons with kitchen. The kitchen contains a fridge, a sink, 3 plates and few cutlery. No oven, nothing for cooking - how can they call it a kitchen? We stayed 2 nights but there was no house keeping in between (we did not expect some cleaning, but at least the trash should be removed and the towels changed)More
