We had a lovely stay. Sadly only for one night. An oasis of calm in a quiet residential area yet very conveniently close to Portsmouth and the motorway. We had a very comfortable twin room. Our hosts were kind, friendly and thoughtful but not obtrusive in any way and we were served a really tasty breakfast. A really enjoyable visit. We will certainly come again and would recommend Fairways very highly.

We chose Fairways in preference to our usual Premier Inn after having seen people's comments on line!
My goodness, we weren't disappointed! We had reason to travel to Waterlooville to visit my cousin and her husband visiting from New Zealand and we needed three nights of comfort. This we had with Anne and Dave, who were brilliant hosts and made us feel so comfortable as soon as we stepped through their front door!
They have a beautiful home which they openly share with their guests and the breakfast was to die for!! Nothing was too much trouble and every little detail catered for.
We had three lovely nights stay with them, overlooking their lovely garden, so quiet and peaceful.
The first of our nights was in a twin room and our bathroom was really top class - Everything was there, even down to shower gel for us both, i.e. male and female.!! They hadn't forgotten anything at all.

We would unreservedly recommend Fairways to all friends and relatives travelling to the Portsmouth area.
Thank you Ann & Dave - hope to see you on another occasion.
Here's to your continued success. Pam & Ron Green

Absolutely excellent, Just stayed there the first couple of weeks this October 2012. Anne & Dave are most gracious hosts. We booked here while visiting family living in the area after reading reviews on this site and we were not dissapointed. Beautiful comfortable home and two of the nicest people one could ever meet. Very friendly and accomodating. And it's a great testimate to Anne & Dave to be able to put up with our crew as a family. Food was excellent and they were so accomodating. Rooms are very comfoftable and the garden is beautiful.

We stayed here while visiting Portsmouth. After many busy, urban B and B's, we were ready for peace and quiet. And we found it here. This is a lovely family home in a great area and our twin room was comfortable and nicely equipped. It overlooked a gorgeous garden and had exclusive access to a large, modern bathroom. We only had cereal and fruit for breakfast but could have had much more. Dave was very helpful concerning accessing Portsmouth. The bus stop was only two blocks away and was by far the best way to access the historic docks. If I were in the area again, I'd definitely stay there.
