Six of us ate here (now re-branded as a Red Lounge restaurant) to celebrate my son's birthday. I'm glad we'd booked as it was very busy.
The food was very good indeed and there were some choices on the menu that went well beyond the obvious and predictable. A minor disappointment was that the slow-cooked lamb could perhaps have benefitted from being cooked a little longer. A couple of us had the sea bass with garlic crushed potatoes - excellent. Steaks were cooked correctly and of good quality. Service was also up to the mark.
As there are almost no soft furnishings in the dining area it can get very noisy when full as the chatter just bounces around and that was a bit disturbing. There was an issue when trying to pay with the card machine which couldn't communicate and that incident could have been handled better. Overall though very enjoyable.
