“We found a little gem in the heart of Devon”
Reviewed 29 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Perfectly situated between Dartmouth and Totnes this "home from home cottage" provided us with a wonderful base to explore the local countryside. Ben ensured all of our questions and inquiries were answered with care and it was obvious he wanted to help us have a great break.
This is probably the best rental I have had, and would not hesitate in recommending this wonderful retreat to anyone.

“Very Comfortable !!”

A very comfortable well equipped holiday cottage. The beds and bedding were superb. Harbertonford is very central for touring round. Would definitely recommend !!

“Lovely accommodation much more expensive than advertised on holiday lettings”

Fabulous little cottage perfect for a weekend get away. Lovely open downstairs layout with really comfy furniture and big log burner!! (bring your own logs tho!). Very well kitted out kitchen and swanky bathrooms. Bedrooms good size and comfy beds.

Only two criticisms;
1.there is a crows nest in the roof above the second bedroom which is very noisy first thing in the morning it sounds like the crows are in your room
2. The cottage is MUCH more expensive than advertised on holiday lettings - but once you get there you can understand why. Follow the link below for the full price!

Overall if you're happy to pay the price I can't see why you wouldn't have an amazing time like we did!

“Very nice and cosy cottage”

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage very much. Above all we liked the bedrooms, the showers and the well-appointed kitchen. The city Totnes, which is nearby, is beautiful.
Unfortunately, the weather was not always on out side but you can make yourself comfortable
in the cottage. The place we liked most is the beautiful Dartmoor. We can definitely recommend the cottage.

“Great Cottage”
Reviewed 28 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

I went with my friend for a week golfing and sightseeing we played at Bigbury GC which had beautiful views ascorr the sea, The location of the cottage was perfect with great Foodie Pubs around, detilas of these in the cottage booklet. The cottage was perfect in every detail with superb beds and showers the owners dod not scrimp on anything. Lovely secluded back garden with a stream running at the back, very comfortable garden chairs. The only fault we could find was the loacal pub was rubbish so dont go there but there are others in and around Totnes ( 5 mins away) that are brilliant. We will definately go back with our wives as this is a perfect location in a friendly working village that has a great village store 5 mins walkj away.

“High spec property, oversold”
Reviewed 26 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

This is a beautifully appointed little cottage/barn conversion. The external space is limited. It is near a busy A road which runs between Tones and Dartmouth. The local pub is poor. The village shop is very good, with an above average range of goods.
