We stayed at the Rumblings for a long weekend with our daughter and 2 granddaughters. We have family that live in Chesterfield so the cottage was ideally placed for visiting them. The cottage was lovely. Very clean and very well equipped, everything we needed and the welcome pack left by the owners was much appreciated especially the wine! The children loved the 'attic' room and the games room was a bonus too. Kept them occupied. Would definitely recommend staying here. One downside is the description on TripAdvisor said 2 bathrooms but there was only one and a downstairs toilet!

Stayed at The Rumblings for a long weekend in February .Weather not very good, rain and more rain but even this didn't spoil our stay.Beautiful cottage especially taken with the wood burner. We all agreed that the photos didn't do it justice!.Very nice to have milk, teabags, coffee, sugar, spread and bread and a bottle of wine, a very nice touch.Looking forward to returning in the future.
