“Perfect Accomodation”

Decided on a last minute one night trip to the Isle of Wight and called to see if I could get a late booking and am very pleased they has one room left.
David and Emma were excellent hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. By far the most friendly and approachable B&B owners I have experienced.
The location is excellent, nice quiet country lane but ideal for getting to all the islands attractions.
Room was clean, comfortable bed and the decor and grounds were stunning. Breakfast was top draw and had a great selection (I went for the full English as per usual)
There's a great pub just a 5 minute walk up the road, beautiful food and MASSIVE portions.

Will most definitely return on my next visit to the Isle of Wight

My partner and I have just returned from the IOW and stayed at this lovely, welcoming, friendly and relaxing B&B. David and Emma are the perfect hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. Beautiful and very comfy rooms with everything you require. They have a wonderful choice of breakfasts, which would cater for everyone. The dining/lounge area and garden patio are decorated and furnished beautifully and I can't wait to return and hire a bike to cycle along the cycle path which starts literally next door. We have stayed at a few B&B's and this is BY FAR the best. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I can't recommend this B&B more highly. I found it in a women's cycling magazine - it was one of the top 5 B&Bs for cyclists in the UK and the recommendation was spot on. I stayed for 4 nights on a cycling holiday and found the location to be perfect - it runs right alongside the number 23 cycle route. It's 2 miles to Sandown and about 6 to Newport from where you can go north to Cowes or west to Carisbrooke and then right over to Freshwater and the Needles. The B&B's located in a little village called Langbridge. It is safe and quiet and the cycle route and lanes around are buzzing with wildlife. If you want to see red squirrels head one mile down the cycle path to Alverstone and find the entrance to Alverstone Mead Nature Reserve just past the bridge - it's a beautiful spot. There is a hide beside the marshes but the red squirrels are in the trees all around.

The B&B itself is fantastic. David and his family are very friendly and cook amazing breakfasts. I had the room at the front and it was perfectly clean and very comfortable. David has exciting plans for a cyclists café, workshop and information point which is opening later this year. I can't wait to return!

This B & B sets a standard which all others should be attaining. Set in a quite inland village with a great pub a short walk away. We had large room, very comfortable beds and an excellent en suite. The extensive breakfast menu using fresh local ingredients was cooked to order. The oak smoked(own smoker) Aga baked ham with a poached egg was cooked to perfection by David. Breakfast kept us satisfied while we toured the island until our early evening dinner with friends. Free wi-fi was a bonus. We are looking forward to visiting this little gem again. Thank you David & Emma.

Rosemary Cottage is tucked away in the vilage of Langbridge, and as the title says; we feel it is the best B&B we have stayed in. We were back at the Isle of Wight for our sons annual rugby tournament, and staying at a B&B was far nicer than staying in one of the local caravan parks. The annexe was built specifically for the B&B business by the owners David and Emma, who give you the warmest of welcomes.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfy, and the location was very good for all the sights and scenes of the Isle of Wight, especially the Garlic Farm, which is literally 5 minutes up the road. The breakfast were just simply awesome, and cooked 100% fresh with local produce. David looked the business in his chef's smarts and we even had the choice of chicken or turkey eggs from his own flock (go for the turkey, lush!).

The Pointers Arms is a walk back up the hill, but it is worth it. The reception was also warm and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Don't be surprised to find Dave up there already, having one of his 'business meetings'! The walk back down the hill can be a bit precarious, depending on how much you have enjoyed the Pointers Inn atmosphere; so remember to bring the torch that is hung in your room. It is there specifically for the walk back!

Yes, you occassionaly got a bit of noise from the other rooms, and you have to be a bit careful getting out of the driveway. But do not let that put you off of what is a fantastic B&B, which is well run, clean, reasonably priced and friendly.

We had an excellent stay at the B&B which we can definitely recommend. Proximity to the pub 5 mins up the hill with a nice beergarden came very handy, also the proximity to the Garlic Farm at which my mate had her wedding that weekend. The rooms at the B&B are spacious and very clean, the breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. David and Emma were very helpful and friendly.

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 day chillaxing break at David and Emma's B&B Rosemary Cottage. The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable, the complimentary bathroom welcome pack was lovely and the shower was huge. There is also a large lounge to sit in and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast choice was amazing and all cooked freshly to order. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and advice on where to go and what to see was so helpful. We ate dinner twice at the Pointers Inn located 5 minutes up the road where the food is truly scrumptious. They are so well located for visiting other points of interest on the island and are 5 minutes away from the famous Garlic Farm which is also well worth a visit. This B&B sets the standard to which all other B&B owners should aspire. I have no hesitation in recommending Rosemary Cottage as a great place to stay and indeed have already have done to a friend of mine. It is also very helpful that David is able to organise the ferry crossing to be included in the special room rate.

Room Tip: We had the Kingfisher Room which can be made up as two singles or one huge double.
