Owner description: The Garlic Farm is all about garlic...We've been growing garlic on the Isle of Wight for over 30 years now and are the UK's largest specialist garlic grower. We are proud of our exceptional quality garlic which is renowned for its flavour, keeping quality and beauty. We also travel the world to find the best quality garlic varieties to offer our customers. We sell our garlic through our farm shop, farmers' markets, our website and through specialist food retailers across the UK including farm shops and delicatessens. We welcome visitors to our farm shop and cafe on the Isle of Wight.

Well worth a visit if you love garlic, as I do. The staff were very friendly, helpful and answered questions. I just love their Garlic and Mint Mayonnaise, I wish I'd bought more than two jars. I wasn't brave enough to try the garlic ice cream though.
I want to go back.

We visited the farm and were really impressed by the place. It is free to visit and you are able to sample all the chutneys sauces and pickles before buying from their lovely farm shop. Their are icecreams and a cafe too. In the grounds our children were able to hold an owl for £2 and then we wandered through a lovely meadow to see the garlic which was shortly to be harvested. It is down a fabulous country lane but it is worth the journey!! We will return and the chilli jam we bought was absolutely delicious as was the smoked garlic butter! Well done!

First of all, free entry (which is a rare think in modern Britain). The expert teaches you how to make a PROPER garlic bread. More than 50 types of delicacies containing garlic. Go on farm visit, you can see so many varieties of garlic (I never thought there were so many types). Don't miss the elephant garlic. Although some of the items are pricey in the gift shop, no pressure to buy anything. Heritage centre, falconry, restaurant, all under one roof. I tested he Garlic cibatta bread with cheese; well worth it.

+If you like garlic, as I do, you will like this place, garlic everywhere!
-Not too easy to get to, nerves of steel are needed to drive down the narrow lanes, but well worth the effort.

Hello and thank you for your lovely review. Glad to have another fellow garlic lover come and enjoy the farm. Yes, we can't do much about the roads but we kind of like them! We hope it's all part of the experience- and helps slow people down to our nice laid back pace!
Thanks again and best wishes,
the Garlic Farm Team

If you love Garlic and we do, then you must make sure you pay a visit here. First impressions are of a lovely clean and tidy farm with plenty of chalkboards giving little histories of the place. The shop is lovely and airy and full of all things garlic. We picked up 6 different chutneys that we are looking forward to trying, The Coronation limited edition sauce was on special for just £3 a jar. Haven't been brave enough yet to open the Banana Chutney, haven't a clue what to eat it with. The pork scratchings are good too, but could we please have a real strong garlicky one?!!
A must visit place while on the island

Thank you so much for your lovely review!
Glad you enjoyed your visit and took home a few of our products to taste.
We really like to eat 'Cheeky Monkey' with cottage cheese or works quite well with curries... but if you find a good combo of your own then please do let us know.
Thanks for the feedback about the pork scratchings.. you're right, we think you can never have enough garlic flavour so we'll look into tweaking the recipe!
Many thanks and best wishes,
The Garlic Farm Team
