“Wish we had time to do more”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

We popped in on the way back after a day out as I really wanted to get my hands on some black garlic. Told the kids we were just going to visit the shop. Parked the car up for free and off we trundled to the farm shop, Picked up some black garlic and a few other things. Tried some garlic and herb popcorn which was actually quite nice. Just wish we had planned things a bit better as would of loved to of done the taster sessions ect. We will return one day when next on the Isle of Wight. Plan to spend a few hours here.

“Great day out with a difference!”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

This is my second visit to the Garlic Farm. First visited in 2011 with the kids. They didn't want to go then, but ended up enjoying it.

Went again in July this year with the kids. They were enthusiastic this time. Fun day was had by all. I had to stock up and so bought more jars of varoius garlic mayonnaise's (they're lovely with chips) and ketchip I bought one with paprika and garlic, yum! In the workshop you can taste all they have to offer and mark on your shopping list (which they provide, and a pencil), before buying in the shop. The kids loved tasting all the different garlics mayonnaise's and ketchup. They also have kids sessions. We walked around the grounds to see the cows, sheep, goats and garlic farms. Didn't go on the farm ride again, just sceptical if it is value for money. The shop is filled with a whole load of everything garlic.

There is also a restaurant on site but we didn't eat there because is was very busy. Had some garlic ice cream made by the famous Minghella family, it was yummy. You must try it. The kids loved the ice ceam although they opted for strawberry. There is also a pottery.

Good day out with a difference and it's free entry although you have to pay for the farm ride.

“"Amazebobs" - praise indeed from a teenager!!”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

You know the plot - family of 4 on holiday, teenage girl and younger brother bickering etc etc. Cue a trip to the Garlic Farm and 3 hours of happy kids = happy parents. The tasting barn was by far the biggest attraction with a multitude of relishes, jams etc to try. We then bought our favourites in the shop. No problems choosing holiday gifts this year. The meadow is beautiful and we enjoyed a stroll around the summer flowers. Sadly we missed the ride around the farm but made up for this in the cafe with a bountiful plate of food and drinks. Thumbs up all round and thank you for keeping the kids happy!!

“Bloody brilliant . Best part of out trip.”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

Discovered by mistake and very glad we did. Free parking and to go in. Lessons, baking and tours available. Wow who knew you could do so much with garlic. Spend a fortune in the shop. Garden at rear with chickens rabbits and more, when we were there bird of prey and ferret walking. I'm hard to please and I was pleased. Remember to go to the tasting shed 1st yummy
