“Beautifully eerie place in Banff”
Reviewed 29 May 2013

We went to bankhead on the way back from visiting Lake Minnewanka.
We knew it would be a deserted old town where the miners lived and worked, but we were surprised to see so many untouched things since the place was abandoned years ago.
We were the only ones there, which made it even more eerie and special ( except for the animals which walked freely around us). The place has a sad history to it but is very interesting to see and experience.
