An unexpected complimentary bottle of wine on the table when we arrived. We stayed in a wht they call a "Country cottage" style chalet with a double room, a nice bathroom and a loft room with twin double beds. Ample for our family of 4. There is also a sofa bed so I presume it could have slept 6, but that would perhaps have started to feel a bit tight, with only the one bathroom. Oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle & coffee machine and a big fridge/freezer so suitable for self catering. I suppose my one slight criticism was that there could have been a few more plates and cooking utensils etc. But the dishwasher and supply of wash tablets meant that there were just about enough.
The room accommodation was clean and bright.
The staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly. The one time I went along to ask for something, it was brought to our apartment before I even got back. No safe in the room, but by this time in our trip, I didn't really think twice about leaving laptops etc when we went out.
Housekeeping called each day and were happy to either dress the apartment or just give towels if that was your request.

We stayed for 4 nights before heading down to stay in a Calgary airport hotel before our flight home. In hindsight, I'd have stayed the extra night at the Tunnel Mountain resort and driven down on the day of the flight.
When you check in, they give you free transit passes so no need to drive into town and look for parking. 2 transits per hour in peak times and only a couple of stops (down a long hill) to the supermarket and the main shopping area of town.
All in all, a really good stay and I would stay again.More
