Looks like an older hotel, but our 2 rooms seemed to be recently remodeled and very nicely done. Although we arrived too early to check in we were able to park in their underground garage and walk downtown. The desk clerk was very nice and recommended some places for us to visit, including the estimated time it would take for each, and a map. The breakfast area is a little small, but that isn't unusual. They had mostly cereals and bread, some fruit, no sweets, which I thought was not great, but certainly acceptable. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: Our rooms were in front and on the 3rd floor above the lobby area. I have no idea what other rooms are like, but these were nice.

booked the room on line. To our surprise the room we booked on the web site and the room we got were not the same. Had to upgrade to get a better room. This was still out dated and in need of major repairs. There was cleaning carts and laundry piled in the hallway with no staff anywhere around. Continental breakfast was in a small room that could hold around 20, but they were trying to accommodate the whole hotel. Only good thing was that it was clean. For $200 plus a night you expect much nicer accommodations.

Room Tip: make sure that your not on the first floor if you have to stay here.

Banff is a fancy resort town so everything is expensive. Red Carpet Inn's price was not bad compared with the rest. The room was nice and the location is great. A couple minutes walk to the downtown area. They have a nice breakfast too! Would definitely come back again!

We didn't know what to suspect when we booked. Location was an easy walk to the center of town. Parking was available and free. Breakfast good. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was okay, not super friendly. They have tourist information readily available.

Room was very small but clean. Suitable for just the 2 of you, however I wouldn't stay with our kids. A short walk to the main street area, which was nice. Breakfast was disappointing. There was nowhere to sit so we shared with another couple. It would have been nice to have some waffles or pancakes as an option. Not just cereal or toast. The fruit bowl was a nice touch though. Overall it was ok.
