“Peaceful and beautiful”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

We arrived this beautiful place early in the morning. We took it by car and stopped near each one of the 3 lakes. The place is so quiet and nice, it seems it's only you and the nature. highly recommended great sceneries and not so crowded.

“If you have some spare time and want a walk this is a good option”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We'd seen everything we wanted to see, and had an hour spare. Still disparate to see a Mouse and Beavers we thought we'd head out to Vermilion Lakes. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any wildlife but we did have a relaxing walk through the woods

“Only Good to see a different view of Mt Rundle”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Except for the sawtooth view of Mt Rundle, this is not necessarily worth the toime to drive to. The so-called lakes are nothing special.

Reviewed 19 August 2014

We drove the lakes on two different days and saw no wildlife, but the views are wonderful just like everywhere in Banff

“Nothing much”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

The vantage point from the highway was actually the best view we had of the lakes, and across to the mountains. Were relatively unimpressed driving down and stopping beside them. Little to see and little in the way of wildlife, at least during the daytime. I'm told it is better, though busier, in the evenings.
