“You must go there, period”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

We went there in mid november, top of the mountains were covered with snow and a partly sunny sky made the scenery absolutely amazing. Price is cheap only $7 for an adult, they do have towels and swimsuit rentals along with token operated lockers. For sure you will smell like a burnt matches because of the sulfur from volcanic water source.

“Rough surfaces in Pool”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

Went with my boyfriend one evening after hiking Tunnel Mountain during the day. The water was nice but I found that the lining on the pool, both on the bottom and the benches was very rough to the touch and it made the experience more uncomfortable than comfortable. I personally won't got back. I'll add it to the "been there done that" list.

“soothing after cold day on trails”
Reviewed 9 November 2013

Pool is in a nice setting and water temp is plenty warm enough. Pool was a bit more crowded than I expected but after I got out I was totally relaxed. Wisps of steam and snow definitely gave it a winter BIG hot tub on the slopes feel. Was a got to do for us since so much history about the hot springs in Banff.

“Banff Springs”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. After a morning spent horse riding through the chilly forests of Kananskis the 40 degrees springs were a welcome delight. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and well maintained. A unique experience not to be missed of hot open air springs in freezing temperatures.

“Novel Experience”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

This was a novel experience that's worth doing if you need a break from hiking. Nothing great - it's a wading pool with an interesting history is all.
Something different. I think it would be fun in the snow.
