“Heaven sent and very affordable”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

My family had just finished a 3 day backpacking trip that wore us out when we recalled seeing this place in a brochure. We quickly changed out of our sweat soaked clothes into swimming suits and eased into the springs. Oh my goodness. Nothing could have felt better after our trek. I'm not an hot springs expert and so don't have much to compare it to, but we were completely satisfied.

Water temp was 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) and their were plenty of other visitors which wasn't really a problem. Only cost our family of six $30 CDN.

“Affordable and Relaxing”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Soaked away our sore muscles after a day of hoofing it around Banff. AMA membership got us $2 off. Not crowded, lots of soap and water pressure in showers. Beautiful view of mountain peaks in and out of the hotpool.

“Good Spot to Soak with Kids”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

2 adults and 3 boys - 6, 8 and 11 - enjoyed a couple hours of soaking after a great trip up the gondola to the peak of Mount Sulphur.
The warm water was refreshing on tired muscles and the backdrop view is world class.
After, we sat on the patio and enjoyed ice cream cones and a cold beer while feeding the squirrels.
It doesn't get better.
If you're looking for a relaxing few hours with your fam, you should go.

“Perfectly good trip - but has so much potential!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 via mobile

Mum and Dad (35) children (8+5).
Admission: just over 7 dollars for adults just over 3 for kids or a family pass is available.
Extra for towels or heritage bathing suits.
To be honest you go for the novelty and because it's right next to the Banff Gondola. Some of the reviews are correct - it's a bit tired - it's a concrete pool and it can get crowded. BUT it is really cheap the views are excellent and it's on the 'must do' list for Banff - so why not!
We found it refreshing the kids loved the novelty of it and it was cheap. Probably no longer than an hour. I think the real pity is the potential. If it was made more like the Radium site with a kids pool (cooler) so you can switch between the two it would be incredible. They have an incredible location and access to facilities, twinned with the gondola that could make it incredible - fingers crossed for some investment.

“Nice Dip on sweet day”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Awesome Day in Banff, so we decided to go for a swim. Neat setting up in the Mountains. The pools are very small but do cater for families and small travel groups a like, for the price id def go back. Oh and the old style swim suits are a must to try on!
