We visited here on a free day in Banff from our coach party. The cave was small but beautiful, and imagining where the outdoor pool would have been and how busy it would have been going back over the years.
Well worth the walk from the centre of Banff

This is the site of the first spring discovered in Banff, that lead to the area becoming a railroad-driven tourist destination. The site tells the story very well, with re-enactors, a movie, lots of exhibits, and, best of all, the cave itself, which is small and beautiful. There are extended boardwalks with signs to show the influence of the hot springs on the flora and fauna, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

We found this site to be very educational. The boardwalk along the marsh was very pleasant and enjoyable. The cave was awesome. Be prepared for the sulfur smell from the waters. Highly recommend this.

It's changed since i was younger but enjoyable all the same. It was smelly but im guessing that was from the sulphur maybe. The staff were kind and helpful, the gift shop was filled with all sorts of things for everyone!

This site was enjoyable, especially the cave, and the marsh walk was lovely. The movie was well-done. Gives a lot of history on Canada's National Parks.
