Went on the back country photography trip August 2014 with Raymond Gehman - Loved it! The horses were in great shape for the riggers of the ride and well cared for. Back Country guides Greg and Kate were both knowlegable and personable making them a pleasure to spend time with. Greg plays a mean guitar at the camp fire and his original songs are entertaining. The rest of the staff were great as well - the mule train drivers and cooks at both lodges were all engaging and had stories to keep us well entertained. The food was good and plentiful. The scenery unbeatable and the photography instructor, Raymond, was very skilled at passing on knowledge for every level of photographer. Along for the ride as a guest was Trish - a photographer for Holiday on Horseback. Even though she wasn't 'officially' working she also provided a lot of support with others photography which was much appreciated.
