My wife and another couple stayed for two nights at the bungalows. We stayed in a two bedroom unit and they in a single cabin, what a wonderful place it is within a couple of km of the lake without the rediculous Fairmont price, if you want the Fairmont feel you can have dinner there walk through and take photos (I wont tell) no really go to the lake around 0630 h for your photos, rent a canoe if you wish ($40 an hour) and then go look around what a beautiful place. Back to the cabins Excellent for the price, allways try to get upstairs to avoid the elephant nises from upstairs, but that is the same in all of these lodges.

Room Tip: Upstairs or a seperate lodge.

My wife and i spent 1 night in a cooper cabin on our way to Jasper National Park in September. The cabin's are compact, but clean and have all the amenities one needs for a short stay. The grounds are pristinely looked after and there are seats to chill out on & admire the amazing beauty of the area. Next to our cabin we had a bbq, where we cooked our breakfast in the morning prior to our day out. Only a 2 minute drive to Lake Louise itself and a 5-10 minute drive to Lake Moraine, this place is brilliantly situated and away from the heaving tourist trap of the Fairmount. The local shops are a 1-2 minute drive down the road where there is a liquor store, cafe (good coffee & food),petrol and a couple of other shops. Would definitely stay at Paradise Lodge again, the staff were all friendly and very accommodating. The rooms also had gas fireplaces that kept us warm all night when temp's dipped to zero. TIP - avoid both lakes during the day, ridiculous amounts of tourist's everywhere!! We went early in the morning and late in the evening and it was way more peaceful. Dinner at the Outpost (Pub at the Post Hotel 2 minute drive) was awesome and inexpensive.

Room Tip: We did not get a room with a deck, but if the weather is good when your going, i would recommend get...

We stayed in a fairview suite which had ample room and a nice balcony. It is close to the main road to Lake Louise, but road noise was not a problem at night. During the day there is a steady stream of cars and buses. I agreed with a previous reviewer that a door between the bedroom and kitchen/living area would be good to block the refrigerator sound which was fairly loud. Room was well appointed, but had lower quality towels, etc. then this price level would suggest. It seems like everything in the Lake Louise area is much higher priced then I would expect, so it is probably in line with other properties in the area. Even the hostel in town was $100/night! The location is great, so if you price isn't a problem, it's good place to stay.

My husband and I booked a bungalow for two nights. It was the cutest, tidiest place I had ever stayed in. The grounds were beautiful and meticulously kept. But Lana (owner) and Shelley were the best part of all. We reserved a car in Calgary only to find there were no cars available. We booked another and soon discovered they can "make the reservations but cannot hold the reservations (Seinfeld)". I was frustrated and in tears from the attitudes of the car rental personnel. Along came Lana and Shelley. Lana found the only car left in Alberta and Shelley drove us to the depot. I can't thank them enough for saving our vacation! We wish we could have stayed all week.

This cabin was on the small size but for the location I thought it was a great value. It had a nice deck in the back with a great view. Also had a very large bathroom. I stayed at Moraine Lake Lodge for one night and this place is very close by. I actually preferred this place and it was about half the price of Moraine Lake Lodge.

We spent 4 nights in a Peyto cabin and can recommend it as very comfortable for a couple. It was very clean, had a nice kitchenette, and a cute gas stove that warmed us on cold nights. Really like the sofa, and the large, claw foot tub. Hope to stay here again someday!

After getting use to the jet lag of the first few days in Canada, it was a delight that our friends had booked a superb weekend away travelling to Jasper and our first night stay was at the Paradise Lodge & Bungalows at Lake Louise. This lodge style accomodation is set in woodland not to far from the main Lake Louise centre and very easy to find, even on a late Friday night. Paradise Lodge & Bungalows were very easy to find even quite late on the Friday evening. The reception staff, (Shelly & Lana) were very helpful and welcoming. Parking close was very easy, well lit and were close to our cabins. Our accomodation itself was spotless, presented immaculately and the bed linen was warming and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were excellent, bathroom very clean and the fire in the lounge was a fantastic feature, which also kept you very warm if you needed it. The balconies were a delightful feature however being a non smoker, I found the balconies close to our room were being used by other guests as a place to have a smoke :o( . The only other issue we all had was " We didnt stay long enough :o) All I can say is, Fabulous, Relaxing, Friendly, Spotless...... SUPERB!!!!!

Room Tip: Ground Floor room would be good if you had a lot of lugage.
