We booked this hotel based on reviews we had read on TripAdvisor. The property is very close to the road to Lake Moraine and just a few minutes from Lake Louise. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was nicely appointed. The bedroom had a queen sized bed and was located off the main entry. A pocket door from the bedroom leads into another room that has a kitchen, small dining table, sofa, gas fireplace with a timer and a TV. A nice sized bathroom is located just off this second room. While the place is nice, the hotel offers no amenities such as a restaurant, no laundry, no phone in the room, etc. The front desk people were pleasant but when asking for places to eat they only offered the Station House Restaurant and a couple of other holes in the wall. They didn't mention any of the restaurants that we discovered on our own located in other hotels. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but we felt it was a bit of a disservice. As an example, there is a nice restaurant in the Deer Lodge hotel just up the street.

We found a few things worthy of improvement. The lighting inside the bungalow is not very good so it always feels dark. There is a sign in the kitchen that states "This unit is rented with the understanding that dishes will be left clean" - ok, but that seems a bit cheap to me considering we paid $220 a night. They do have free wireless Internet but it is such a bad connection that it's painful to use and it might as well not exist. The TV in the bedroom is tiny (perhaps 13" or less) - too small for a TV in a hotel bedroom!

Thank you for your response and for your stay at Paradise Lodge. We are sorry you did not find our coin operated Laundry. It is located in the building right beside the check in area.

The T.V's in the bedrooms of the suites are smaller, however the living room area is equipped with a 36" flat screen T.V for guest enjoyement next to the fireplace.

As we do not advertise restaurant facilities on our property, we do provide a full listing of all menu's for each restaurant in the local area in our main reception. We do often mention Deer Lodge dining room ; an excellent restaurant specializing in wild game. We are happy to help out with any special requests and also assist in making reservations at any restaurant in the area.

With regards to the internet, that is a problem that plagues the entirety of Lake Louise. We warn guests' upon use that our Wi-Fi connection is not the strongest and the service does come and go. This is due to our remote location in the rockies.

Thank you for your feedback.

My fiancé and I were looking to get away even just for one night over May long weekend. We have an RV but we know what it's like over long weekends - it's rarely the quiet time in nature we are looking for! We wanted to go somewhere in the mountains, beautiful scenery, a few amenities and restaurants, as well as to go hiking, driving, exploring, etc. Most of all we wanted our hotel to be clean and QUIET. After reading some reviews, we cancelled one of our reservations at another hotel in Lake Louise, and chose Paradise Lodge Cabins. We were soo happy we did!! The staff were very professional, cheerful and helpful. We loved our kitchenette, balcony, clean rooms and fireplace! It was more than we were expecting! (We did have breakfast at the restaurant where the hotel where we were originally going to stay...and are very glad we didn't choose to stay there overnight.) Loved it! We will be back!

We arrived in Lake Louise to check in at the Fairmont Hotel - a beautiful "castle" on Lake Louise. Upon arrival, we realized that we wanted more of a wooded "cabin" feel so we called Paradise Bungalows (a referral from a server at Deer Lodge) and boy, are we glad we did! We checked into this "log cabin" if you will, and felt the coziness and feel of the scenery - mountains, trees, and wildlife. We saw several birds, and while standing on our balcony, we saw a Grizzly bear walking down the highway. We had been on a hunt for a bear for days, and low and behold - it was right there! It was exciting - and then an hour later, saw either the same one or another across the street. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable and the view is great. Highly recommended!

Nice quaint lodge minutes from the shore of Lake Louise. Rooms clean and spacious, separate bedroom, kitchenette, fireplace, couch and chairs. View from the balcony of the north face of Mount Temple is very nice, I found myself looking at it alot. There was a small playground for kids in the center area. The townsite of Lake Louise is just a couple minutes down the hill too.

This hotel was just around the corner from Lake Louise making it an ideal location for the area's activities.
Our one bedroom suite was modern and spacious. the fireplace and deck were great for relaxing after a long day's hike. Full kitchen and dining table made eating in a breeze. Hotel staff were friendly and happy to answer questions.
This was a great place to stay and i would recommend it to anyone looking to be close to the lake.

We stayed for 4nights in a lovely cabin amongst the trees, it was just perfect. The staff where very friendly and helpful. You could also go to the lodge and get some goodies for breakfast. It is on a busy road especially in the high season but who cares the cabin makes up for that. Long to go back sometime. They are so close to Lake Louise which is convenient, the lake is wonderful, had a rowing boat out so peaceful. Only problem with the area is the lack of facilities for self catering.
I am sure if you are thinking of going to this area you would not go wrong with Paradise Lodge and Bungalows.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Wilson log cabin - excellent
