I loved this place! Our cottage was gorgeous and had every luxury, including a big claw foot soaking tub. The location cannot be beat. This is better than the chateau for value, definitely! Close to restaurants.

Only 1km away from Lake Louise this is ideal if you cant or wont pay the Chateux prices but want to be close to the Lake. We stayed in a Fairview Lodge suite. Very well equipped with a beautiful balcony and roaring fire. We upgraded to the romance package so we had champagne, chocs, glasses, luxury bathing prducts and candles for our arrival, a lovely touch. Breakfast is available in the main building, you can eat there or bring to your suite, which is what we done. Its not really fancy but sets you up for the day. Just one thing if females are travelling alone. The bedroom area is immediately at the suite front door. I was fine as I was with my partner but if I was with my friends or mum I think I would have been a bit jumpy. Saying that it was very quiet and we never heard another guest in the nightime hours. I would stay again due to the location to the lake and comfort of the suite.

We booked to stay here for three nights at the end of our honeymoon. On arrival, our cabin was all ready for us, and we were very happy with it. Our wooden cabin comprised of one large room which had our bed, a seating area and television, and also a kitchen area. Then at the rear of the cabin there was a large and clean bathroom. At the side and rear of the cabin was a decking area with a set of chairs and a table, which was great for enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains.

The kitchen had all you needed for preparing simple meals, although be warned: if you intend to cook, bring supplies with you from elsewhere, as the one shop in Lake Louise has a very poor selection of fresh produce.

The site is nice and quiet, and you are able to park your vehicle next to your accommodation. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and they made restaurant recommendations to us, and even were able to organise a taxi for us (not as easy as you’d think in these parts!) so that we could enjoy a meal with alcohol at the Fairmont Hotel.

If we do return to the Canadian Rockies, I’d like to stay here again, as it was a great self-catering option in a beautiful location.

If you are staying in Lake Louise, this place is on the way to the Lake and very easy to find. The cabins are cute and the gas fireplace keeps you adequately warm at night. If you don't want to deal with the large tourist numbers lining up down the road for lunch, do what we did and utilise the BBQ facilities near the cabin. The staff provide the BBQ utensils. Overall a comfortable and very convenient stay.

We had a lovely stay in Paradise Lodge, where they provided us with a spacious but still cute log cabin with a massive comfy bed and a really swish bathroom. The whole feel of the place was very relaxed, but its location was the best thing about it - really close to Lake Louise itself and also Moraine Lake.

Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was a tasty all-you-can-eat muffins/pastries and coffee - mmm!

Would highly recommend this place, especially as an alternative to the higely over-priced place right next to the Lake.

Yes, what everyone said is true. We stayed in a small Fuez cabin #21, which is the farthest back from the rest. My husband and I were celebrating our 25h anniversary and wanted to return to the Lake Louise area where we went for our honeymoon.

I loved the deck off the cabin that looked into the woods and of course the wood "rocking chair". This place is romantic. The gas woodstove/fireplace was a nice plus. We used it most mornings.

I would ask for either this cabin or else 9, 10, 11, or 12, as they look on the woods and you have more privacy.

I did use the coin laundry once. The breakfast by the fireplace was a nice plus. Though I would have liked more whole grains or some fresh fruit or fruit juice. The owners/ managers are very friendly and helpful

Yes, we wanted the privacy and not the hustle bustle of a large hotel. I go to a city for that!

We stayed in a Fairview Suite for three nights. It was quiet, comfortable, well furnished and very clean. The grounds were beautifully kept with lots of flowers and the lawns were lush and green. They have an excellent website and the staff were efficient and helpful. The breakfast is very limited, bread, bagels & pastries, no fruits of juices offered, but the coffee was excellent. As most units have at least a small fridge, you could always bring your own fruit or juice.
