One of the highlights of our Canadian adventure! Our cabin, the smallest in the range of cabins available, was comfortably furnished and absolutely spotless! The bathroom positively sparkled and continued to do so throughout our stay thanks to the person who slipped in and out each day and kept everything just as we had first found it. The cabin was beautifully sited amongst pine trees with its own parking spot and a small porch for a quiet moment with a good book. Although there were children about and a children's play area it was never noisy, rather a tranquil spot to come home to at the end of a busy day exploring the breathtaking Canadian Rockies. The staff consists of the owners and a hard working and extremely pleasant team of young people. Nothing was too much trouble; they booked restaurants for us, gave directions and provided extra keys when we locked ourselves out!! Complimentary breakfast of pastries, bread for toasting and tea and coffee was provided each morning in the lodge; something of a bonus as this was not mentioned in the write up! We highly recommend this site to anyone looking, as we were, for something other than a hotel or B and B to stay in to enjoy this area, one of the most magnificent places on the planet!

Our most expensive accommodation whilst in Canada but still quite good for the area. We stayed in the Half Saddleback Suite and it had good facilities, not a full kitchen but we didn't expect it. It was in walking distance of the Lake but you needed a car to get into Lake Louise village. The site was beautifully kept and the staff were very helpful. Coffee and cakes were provided in the morning and you could take them back to your cabin. The area around Lake Louise is beautiful but very busy in summer, still much more pleasant than the over-commercial Banff.
We enjoyed the Lake Louise Gondola and the cheap lunch after it was excellent. The village is very small Bill Peyto's cafe is good but I personally would avoid the frozen veg and lack of taste at the Lake Louise grill. A trip to Yoho is worth doing and the Bow Valley Parkway a must (early morning to see bears!) The walk to the tea house is enjoyable but hard work, definitely worth the view. Moraine Lake is just as beautiful as Lake Louise.

My only regret about this place is that we didn't stay here longer! We stayed for 2 nights and was worth every penny. REally cosy little cabin, walking distance to Lake Louise, altho a cab is needed to Lake Moraine (which by the way is nicer than Lake Louise). Very peaceful and serene.

We spent 3 nights in a Wilson cabin, think it was built in the 1920s but it was so sweet inside. Not cheap at $230+tax a night but LL is not a relatively cheap area to stay so worth it. Lovely decor with dark stained wood interior, small kitchenette and shower room, TV, armchair and gas fire. It was very clean and comfortable and we loved it. The whole place is immaculate and there are comfy chairs on the lawn to sit with a drink and talk to tother guets if you want to. Helpful hosts and a snacky breakfast thrown it which was a lovely start to the day. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The room was better than it looks in the photo's on their website, we stayed in one of the bungalows so had a fully equipped kitchen which had everything you need to cook your own meal (N.B. If you want to go out for dinner, make sure you go to The Station Restaraunt - as the name suggests, it is based at the old station, which has been lovingly looked after and there are lots of old photos and stories about the history of the area in there - ask at reception for directions). The bathroom was fantastic with a claw footed tub and nice shower. There was a useful laundry room and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. As mentioned in previous reviews, the supermarket in town is a little over-priced, but luckily we'd taken on board advice read on tripadvisor and bought most of our groceries in Banff on our way through to Lake Louise.
Although we stayed here, we drove back to Banff for one day - this was easy enough to do as it is only an hour away along roue 1. However, we would recommend driving along route 1A (between Banff and Lake Louise) if possible as it is a quieter route, so you are more likely to see wildlife. Also, make sure you set aside some time to stop at Johnstone Canyon, which is spectacular. We also did the Banff Gondola, from which you get to see some pretty amazing views.
On the day we stayed around Lake Louise we did one of the advertised walks to Lake Agnes Teahouse - this was one of the best walks we did on our holiday, it was quite hard going (for us novice walkers!) but again the scenery is amazing and it is well worth it to be able to have tea and cookies at the Teahouse (there is no electriity there!).
We loved our stay at the Paradise Lodge Bungalows and would highly recommend it.

I read hundreds of reviews of dozens of cabin properties in the Banff/Lake Louise area, and this was the ONLY place that didn't have any significant negative reviews... so I chose it for 3 nights of our honeymoon, and it was absolutely worth it. Yes, it's pricy, but not as pricy as Moraine Lake Lodge down the road, and much more private. Plus, EVERYTHING in the Canadian Rockies is expensive.

It's about 1/2 a mile down the hill from Lake Louise, and if your not acclimatized, the walk will feel like quite a bit more than an evening stroll.

Other than that, I don't think I have much to say, other than that I had high expectations, and they were met or exceeded. We had a Peyto cabin (19 I think) fairly near the road, but at night there was no traffic. The cabin itself was awesome - we made cookies in the oven one day and shared them with the staff... the bathroom was 4* hotel quality... I know Paradise is listed as 3*, but I'd give it at least 3 1/2, maybe even 4 in terms of in-room amenities.

Anything else I'd want to say has already been said. Book early - it's full through the summer.

Paradise It Is!
We loved everything about this place from the friendly welcoming front office staff to our spacious well appointed suite. The bedroom could have been in a better location but besides that there was no compliants. Great living room/kitchen area, nice wood interior. Lovely balcony with nice views. Full kitchen and well equipped bathroom. Walking distance to Lake Louise set in nice woodsly property. Fireplace in the room and barbeque pits outside.
If you use one of the packages the prices is reasonable for the very pricey area.
If I ever return I will stay here; and yes, the ranger bear program was adorable, great for kids.
