“Mall with a LOT of stores but try a different mall 1st”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

This mall was fairly close to the hotel I was staying at. Parking is horrible! Once you get in there are a lot of decent shops & every thing looked like it was a well kept/clean mall. The food court is smaller than I was expecting for such a large mall. The mall is not kids/parent friendly. There is a merry-go-round in the food court. And for some reason the food court has 2 levels - separated by abput 10 stairs. The only ramp I found went right past the merry-go-round - NOT ok if you go up & down to get food. Of course your wants to ride it... but it isn't a free ride.

“Best mall in Calgary”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

Chinook is definitely my favourite mall in Calgary. It has a great variety of clothing, electronic, and other stores, as well as a good selection of restaurants and fast-food. It can get very busy on the weekends (especially around Christmas time!) so if you're looking for a quieter time to come, make sure to come on a week night. Movie theatre is great as well, though it can also be fairly packed on weekends and Friday nights.

“Nice, large indoor mall”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

I ventured to this mall on two occasions on hot August days. Parking is limited due to the business of the mall, but I found parking in about 5 minutes both times. It's a fairly upscale mall, with the expected stores. At first, the layout was confusing, but once I became acquainted, the Chinook is easy to maneuver and a great place to shop with the whole family. Very nice environment and a good way to while away a few hours.

“Mall Fan?”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

I've never been a big fan of the enclosed mall, but being Canadian I understand the value of them in the cold harsh winters. Chinook is very well thought out, very well versed in clothing stores if that is why you are there. It also has a few great restaurants and entertainment facilities, it can be PACKED at times, but for the most part large enough to handle the traffic. Very pleasant food court with a view.

“LARGE MALL”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

Great food court, lots of stores that my wife has to visit almost every one.. Attached theatre's, always good movies. They have a chop house attached, went their once, terribly pricy food not great, and high priced drinks, won't be back. Across from the mall there is a Vietnamese restaurant, on 50th Ave. I think, great food and reasonable.
The Mall has ample parking, behind the mall, where there is a professional building, with Doctors and Chiropractic services.
All in all a great place to shop.
